You call me a jerk,
But you're a piece of work.
I love you so,
But you just seem to go.
And it hurts to see you run,
As I start to come undone.
I try as hard as I can,
Just to be your man.
And you give me a rock,
Like I'm just some thrown out sock.
You don't know the things I do,
Just to get you out of the blue.
And to see the shining smile,
Then I wait a while.
For you to turn to me,
With all of that glee.
But that doesn't happen.
I'm not the reason for that smile anymore,
As now I'm just a bore.
I'm just an old memory,
A forgotten melody.
I want to hate you,
I really do.
But I can't stop myself
From loving you.
The dumb little girl,
With princess twirls.
