Mistake

Arizona
I can't believe I just said yes. I barely know her but I couldn't help but smile.

Callie
Did that just happen I thought to myself. Well I'm not to mad considering the blonde said yes I think with a slight grin. We are meeting at joes, the place where it all began.

// Callie is sitting at the bar waiting for Arizona to show up //

Mark
"This is unbelievable, I can't believe I've been stood up" I hear the brunette huff. I just shake my head.
" maybe she got held up at work, you know she's a doctor right," I say trying to make my friend feel better.

Callie
I sit here waiting and hoping for Arizona to show up the more I realize how sad I must look. Sitting here all alone, dressed up. Well I'm not alone, Mark is here but that doesn't count, he's always here.
"I think I'm going to go ahead and go back to the hospital to check on my car crash patient.
Mark gave that concerned look, after what happened with Erica he said he would never let me get hurt again. I just sighed and headed on over to the hospital.

Bailey
" Do you think she is okay?" I asked Addison as we both lean up against the nurses station watching the same doctor.
" I hope so, I know it can be rough. Losing three patients in one night" Addison replied.

Callie
As I make my way up to the less floor to check on some patient's I notice the blue eyed doctor, she seems kinda out of it. She's leaning by a door frame and I notice Bailey and Addie staring at her. I decide I deserve to know why I was stood up. After Erica I told myself that I would never be in the same place.

Arizona
I see Callie walking over and there is an instant feeling of shame that rolls over me. I can't believe I forgot about Joes. She deserves so much better. All I can think about is how my head is throbbing and I can't remember the last time I ate. I brace for the conversation that is about to happen.

Callie
"Well it's good to see that your alive" I spit off probably a little ruder than I should be.
"I..."
I cut the blonde off, " I can't understand why this keeps happening. I'm finally happy and it gets ruined by a selfish blonde"
Before I can even think to let Arizona explain herself I all but yell, "save it. I don't want to here any of your excuses. You could have at least called or texted me. Is it because I'm not a gold star lesbian?"
As I finish I stand there waiting for some kind of response.

Arizona
I'm in complete shock right now. I can't muster the strength to look her in the eyes. She's right, how do I keep letting the people I care about down. It felt like there were a hundred eyes on me. I can feel the room start to spin and my breathing becoming more rapid. As I try think of a way to explain myself and what happened, the only thing I could say before crumbling into a sobbing mess was,
