Jordan had planned a very romantic honeymoon in St. Lucia. The resort was one of the most beautiful places Harper had ever seen. Jade Mountain was considered the most romantic hotel in St. Lucia.
Most days they stayed in, making love and worshipping each others bodies. They explored the island some, just long enough to get everyone souvenirs, then it was back to their hideaway. Back to their sanctuary, to worship each other again. They couldn't get enough of one another. Harper always at least had her arm or leg thrown over his hard, muscular body. And Jordan always had his arm wrapped around her, holding her close to him.
Tonight after making love to his wife, Jordan begins to really picture their future together. He sees them in a big house, either in Boston or somewhere near Dallas. He sees them with a house full of children, maybe six or seven. He wants a huge family. But he realizes they've never talked about having more kids, not really. "Babe, are you on any kind of birth control?"
She looks up at his handsome face, "No. Do I need to be? I mean, do you want me to be? Cause I can get on it. I was just thinking, maybe we...um maybe we could...uh maybe have another baby." She smiles up at him, making his heart burst with love.
"No babe, no need for it if you're okay not being on any. And I'd love to have another baby. I love you so much Harps. You've definitely brought me back to life. I never thought I'd feel like this again. Especially when I got out of prison. I really couldn't see myself having the life I'd dreamed of. Then I met you and everything changed. I knew I could have my dream life. And now, here I am living it, with you."
Harper is amazed by how much more she loves him today than yesterday. "Ya know I hate everything we had to go through just to get to where we knew we were meant to be. I moved to Boston to figure out who I was. And I kept thinking I needed to be alone to figure it out. But I needed to find you so I could figure out me. Because you are my other half, you make me who I'm supposed to be. And going through all we did has made us stronger. I'll forever be grateful for having met you exactly when I did. And I wouldn't change anything. I love you so much. And I look forward to our future together."
Going home after such an amazing honeymoon was difficult. The real world just doesn't seem as appealing compared to the week they'd just spent in paradise. Marla is the only silver lining for them. Jordan had graduated from the firefighter academy and was now a first year probationary fireman. Harper was still at the parole office. After her supervisor found out about her and Jordan she had to file a report
But by the time Harper came back to work from her maternity leave and went to a disciplinary hearing Jordan was already off parole with a clean record. It was dismissed and Harper suffered no consequences for not disclosing her relationship with Jordan.Harper still works with Joey, they've actually become very close friends. With Amy back in Texas he's her best friend here in Boston. Joey and Jordan have become really good friends as well. Joey and his girlfriend come over almost every weekend for a game night. When Marla was just a few months old Jordan had suggested making Joey her Godfather, which made Harper and Joey extremely happy. Joey was honored and took his role in Marla's life seriously. He loved her as if she was his.
Life was going great for Jordan and Harper. They couldn't imagine it could get any better. Then a month after they got home from their amazing honeymoon they get the news they'll be welcoming baby number two. Jordan's wish for a "Honeymoon baby" was coming true. This was just the first of many dreams coming true for them. Together they made the perfect life.
