Life goes on for both Jordan and Harper. Jordan gets a new Parole Officer and Harper no longer has to stress about seeing him each month.

Before she knows it, it's been four months. Harper's been spending most nights alone, Joey's comes by a few times and they've been able to remain friends for the most part. She's made it clear to him that they can be friends, but only friends. Joey says he's cool with that. Michael's also been calling. He keeps asking if he can come visit. She tells him it's not a good idea. Harper wonders if she made the right decision leaving him. She knows he would have given her a really good life. And truth be told, she always thought she'd go back to him once she figured herself out. But now, its too late.

Harper's been feeling worn down and thinking it's time to call Amy and tell her everything that's been going on. But she doesn't want her best friend to worry about her. And she knows if Amy knew about certain things she'd come to Boston.

Harper has too much on her plate these days. She just wants things to go back to how they were, when she first moved to Boston. Before she met Jordan. Before she complicated her life so badly.

She's lost in thought when she comes out of her office and runs right into someone. Harper loses her balance and drops the stack of papers she was holding. Strong hands catch her before she falls. Harper looks up into dark brown eyes. Jordan steadies her and takes a step back from her. His eyes get big as he looks her up and down. "Excuse me Ms. Evan's, sorry about that." She bends down to pick up her papers, not looking at him again. "Its okay Jordan, it wasn't your fault. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

"Hey you need some help with those?" Joey asks as he walks up, "Harper, go sit down, you look terrible, I'll get those for you." Harper keeps her head down and walks back into her office, leaving Joey to pick up her papers and Jordan to stare after her. Joey comes into her office and sits her work on her desk. "Are you okay Harper?" She feels horrible, she hasn't been able to eat or sleep lately. She feels exhausted. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm just tired, I think I'm going to take the rest of the day off. Go home and get some sleep. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow." He offers to bring her dinner, but she says no that she just wants to sleep. He says okay and tells her to call if she needs anything.

All Harper wants is to change clothes and lay down. She decides to lay on her couch so she can watch tv while she rests. Harper wakes with a start to someone banging on her door. Damnit Joey I said I didn't want you to bring me anything to eat. She thinks as she gets up to answer the door. As she opens the door she says, "Joey I told you I just wanted to rest tonight." To her surprise it's not Joey, its Jordan.

"Sorry to just stop by like this Harper but were you not going to tell me?"

Still half asleep Harper's confused by his comment. He brushes past her and goes into her living room. "Yeah come on in Jordan." She says sarcastically. She slams the door with a bang and follows him into the living room. "Jordan I'm sorry but would you mind telling me why you're here, barging into my house? I'm half asleep and have no idea what I was supposed to have told you."

Jordan looks her over, she sits back on the couch, pulling her blanket over her. "Do I look stupid Harper? I'm not blind. How far along are you?" Harper's mouth falls open, "Did you think I wouldn't notice you were pregnant? Or maybe you just thought we wouldn't run into each other. How could you not tell me?"

"Why would I tell you Jordan?" Harper feels like she wants to throw up. She hadn't expected to see him. And yes, she didn't think they'd run into each other. She never planned on him finding out.

"Why wouldn't you tell me? Its mine isn't it?" Jordan glares at her.

"I wouldn't tell you, because it's not yours Jordan." He looks at her, unsure if he believes her. He's about to say something when someone knocks on the door. Both of them look at the door. Fear takes over Harper. She jumps up, "Fuck, Jordan you have to hide. Please, its probably Joey. If he sees you here..." she stops when it looks like Jordan is going to open the front door. "Jordan don't, what are you doing?"

"I'm going into your bedroom to hide I guess. Get rid of him, we're not done."

"Okay, okay. Just be quiet." Jordan goes into her bedroom and starts to close the door, but on second thought he doesn't. He doesn't ever remember her door being closed when he was coming over. And plus, he wants to hear what she says to him.

Harper opens the door, "Joey, what are you doing here? I told you I didn't want anything for dinner." Joey's already walking into the kitchen with take out Chinese. "Well too bad Harper. I brought you and our little bean some food." He smiles at her and puts his hand on her growing baby bump. "Is there anything else you need?"

She tries to smile at him, but can't seem to force herself too. "No Joey, I'm okay. Just tired. Can we talk tomorrow?" He looks disappointed but doesn't argue with her. "Okay. I'll call you tomorrow. Take care of our bean, and get some sleep." He kisses her on the cheek and she walks him to the door. "Thanks for the food Joey. I'll talk to you later." She closes and locks the door behind him. She slowly turns to look at her bedroom door. She expects to see Jordan storm out, pissed at her. But he doesn't.

Harper goes to her bedroom, Jordan is sitting on her bed. He's staring at the floor. "Jordan?"

"Is it really his?" Harper's almost positive its Jordan's baby she's carrying inside her, but there is a small chance it could be Joey's. She never told Joey it was his, he just assumed he was the father when he found out she was pregnant. She didn't have the heart to tell him there was another possible father.

"I honestly don't know Jordan. I'm around five and a half months along. It could be either one of yours."

"Were you sleeping with us at the same time?"

She looks a little shocked at his question, "No. I didn't sleep with him until we broke up."

"Then its mine Harper. You know it is. We were together five and a half months ago. Look I understand why you didn't tell me I guess. The last time we saw each other things got a little heated and things were said. But that doesn't mean I don't want to be a part of my child's life." He takes her hand and pulls her in front of him. Both his hands go to her bump. He places his cheek against her growing belly. He lifts her shirt and places his lips against her bare skin. He kisses her belly and whispers "Hey kid, I'm your daddy. If you hear another guy saying that, its not true. I'm your real dad, and I'm going to love you so much." He kisses her bump one more time, puts her shirt back down, and stands up to leave. At her door he turns to her, "Call me when you want to talk about this. I want to be my child's dad, no, let me correct myself. I'm going to be my child's dad. So call me soon."
