Jordan gets out of the car and hurries around the car to open the door for Harper. She loves that he's such a gentleman. He even takes her hand and helps her out of the car.

Jordan doesn't let go of Harper's hand as they walk toward Battle Road Trail. This is one of Jordan's favorite historical places. Harper loves that he's brought her to this place. Its beautiful and historic. The place of Paul Revere's ride. Its amazing and Harper is loving it. They hold hands and walk the trail. Stopping to read the historic markers.

Harper is having such an amazing time. Jordan is fun and so sweet. So far not complex at all. He's still holding her hand and she wraps her arm around his bicep and leans her head against his arm as the walk. Jordan stops so they can take a break. He sits on the stone wall that runs along the side of the trail. Harper sits next to him, he turns to her, "Are you having a good time, or is it lame that I brought you here?"

"No this is amazing. I love history. So this is really cool. I'm glad you brought me here."

He smiles shyly and looks at his feet, "I just thought since you're new to Boston you should get to know your new city. I've always loved this trail and I thought you might enjoy it too." This side of Jordan, that seems insecure or shy, tugs at Harper's heart. He's so adorable, and unpredictable. Maybe a little complex after all.

"Jordan I am enjoying it. Thank you for bringing me. Come on, show me the rest of the trail." She gets up and stands in front of him, taking both his hands, she gently pulls. He doesn't budge, instead he pulls her to him, causing her to sit on his lap. He takes her face in his big, strong hands and holds her in place as he brings his lips to hers. The feeling of his lips on hers leaves her weak and wanting more. He's got such full, kissable lips. She nips at his bottom lip before running her tongue over it. He touches her tongue with his. He thinks she tastes great, like mint. He hadn't even realized she was chewing gum. They're both breathless when she breaks the kiss. She leans her forehead against his and catches her breath. "We better get going, didn't you say we had a lot to do today?"

"Are you in a hurry to get this over with?" He looks disappointed.

"Yes, but not for the reason you're thinking. I want to see everything you want to show me before I have to start work." Jordan seems encouraged by her explanation. He pulls her to him for one more kiss before standing up so they can continue their walk.

He reaches for her door handle when they get back to his car. But she turns to face him, resting her back against the door. He places his hands on the car, on either side of her. She grabs his shirt and pulls him to her. He brings his lips to hers and they kiss again. This time there's more to it than on the trail. Jordan presses his body against hers. Feeling the heat of his body against hers turns her on beyond belief. God she wants him. He runs his tongue along her lips until she opens her mouth for him. His tongue slowly enters her mouth, the feeling of him entering her makes her instantly wet. She wonders if there's any equivalent to blue balls for girls. If there is, she's totally going to have it.

"Are you hungry Harper?" He asks her, while their lips are still touching. In a raspy voice she says, "Yes, starving." But she isn't talking about food. She pushes her hips against him and feels his erection against her pelvic bone. "Fuck! Harper, what are you trying to do to me?" She let's out a hoarse laugh, "I'm trying to seduce you." He pulls away from her and leans his forehead against hers, "Harper..." he starts to say something. Harper let's out a heavy sigh, "So where do you want to get something to eat? You'll have to make the decision, pick something only a true Bostonian would know about."

Jordan takes her to a little out of the way Italian restaurant. It's dark inside, in a romantic way. It has candle lit tables sitting in high back booths that keep them private. Jordan sits across from Harper. They stare at each other in silence until the waitress comes to their table. She breaks the silence between them. "Good afternoon, welcome to Tony's, I'm Sara and I'll be your server today." She smiles at Harper, then she looks over at Jordan. Her smile is immediately gone. She composes herself quickly, but Harper caught the moment of awkwardness. "Jordan? You're home? When did you get back?" Jordan looks uncomfortable for a second. "Hey Sara, yeah I'm home. Got back to Dorchester about a month ago. How are you? How's your brother?"

"He's good. He moved to Hartford four years ago." He smiles and nods at her. "What can I get you to drink?" They give her their drink orders and she walks away. "You've just recently moved back to Dorchester? Where were you living before?"

"I was living down south for about ten years." That's all he says, Harper doesn't think he's willing to say anymore right now. So she just nods at him and smiles. "I moved away from home for college. It was my first time being away from home. I loved it. I grew up in such a small town then moved to Austin. Four hours away from home, to a big city, with terrible traffic. It was crazy." He knows she's trying to make him comfortable again and it works. He settles into a conversation filled with her funny stories about college classes and sorority parties. They quietly laugh and he reaches across the table to hold her hand.

Sara comes back and Jordan pulls his hand back across the table. His smile fades again. She brings their drinks and takes their food order. Once she's gone again, Harper asks Jordan how he knows her. "I was friends with her brother."

"Was? As in not anymore?"

He thinks about it first, "I mean I don't know really, we just haven't seen each other in years. We just lost touch."

"I guess that happens when you move away from home for a while. I know after college I didn't hang out with all my high school friends anymore. Basically it was just me and Michael after college. My best friend Amy came back home after college too. We'd gone to colleges close to each other so we'd stayed in touch. But that was it when I got back home. I was used to being around just those two though. I spent most of my school years with them."

"So you had the same best friend for all high school as well as the same boyfriend?"

"No, Amy and I have been best friends since first grade. I met Michael through her when I was very young, he's her cousin. So whenever I'd spend time with Amy's family, Michael was always there. Then he moved into our school district the year before high school. We officially got together the summer before high school started."

Jordan looks surprised, "So you've known your ex since you were real young? Why did you two break up?"

"Can we save that conversation for another time? It's not really first date material." Harper smiles at him and he reaches across the table for her hand again. "So what would you like to talk about on our first date?"

Their food arrives and they get a reprieve from having to talk. They eat in relative silence. Harper makes these little sounds while she eats. Like she's tasting the most delicious thing she's ever tasted in her life. Jordan smiles everytime she makes the sound.

He realizes he's really beginning to like this girl. She's not like any other girl he's ever met. She's definitely different, and different is a very good thing.
