You charge at the giant snake boss. It shoots venom needles at you but you block them with your sword. You charge up a sword skill and pierce it's head, killing it. The blue and green shards scatter around you, shining brighter as the moonlight reflects off of them. You stick your sword in the ground and sit down, trying to catch your breath. You closed your eyes, relaxing against your sword. It was dangerous to do things like that especially at night when your alone, and you knew that. But, you were just too tired. A screen popped up infront of you, causing you to pick up your head and look at it. Your eyes grew large. It was a really rare long-sword. The blade was a dark purple and had a silver lining along the outside. The handle was purple but it was wrapped in black leather, perfectly fitting your grip. It was heavy, but you swung it easily. "Yes!" You said with excitment. As you went into your inventory to equip the sword, you checked to see if you got any new skills because you leveled up. Your breathing stopped. Dual wielding? You thought to yourself. I didn't even know that was possible. Argo would've let me know. You continued to walk towards town on the 48th floor, looking for a blacksmith's shop. The town was quiet and mostly empty. Really, the only people outside were the npcs standing at the open shops. You sighed, thinking about your boredom.
You walked in the blacksmith's shop, greeted by a bell above the door. Waiting for someone to come out, you browsed around, looking at some of the swords that were on display. These don't look very strong... Becoming bored again, you stared at the window, thinking of your mom. It had been a while since you had seen her. You thought of all the time she came home drunk, being loud and obnoxious. Sometimes, you woke up in bed, expecting to hear her slam the door and stumble over he feet. But you never heard anything. "Hello? Miss?" You snapped out of your thoughts. "Wh- Sorry!" You said, chuckling awkwardly. You rubbed the back of your head and waved at the pink haired girl. Your hair wa shiny and your eyes sparkled and glistened due to the moonlight from the window. Your skin glowed and your cheeks were dusted pink with embarassment. "You're beautiful..." The short girl said to herself, entranced by your beauty. You blushed even more. "Th-thanks." You said. "A-ah! Sorry! How may I help you?" Her pink hair bounced as she tilted her head. "Um, this sword," you took it off your back amd placed it infront of her. "I just got it but, I was wondering if you could made a sword equal to or stronger than this?" She stared at it in amazement. Tapping the sword, she pulled up it's info and stats. "Wh-what?! This is really rare sword! It has a 0.5% drop rate!" The girl said amazed. You giggled at her excitement. She blushed and said, "I can do it. Come to the back with me." You followed her and walked down the steps. She walked in the corner, looling through a storage inventory screen. She took out a black metal, and headed towards and anvil. She took a deep breath and began to hit the metal with a hammer. After about three hits, it morphed into a black long-sword. She smiled, content with what she had created. She tried to pick it up but it was too heavy. You walked over and grabbed it by it's handle. It was heavier than the purple sword but you were still able to swing it. "It's stats are equal to that of an Elucidator, another rare sword that drops from a monster." She said, clasping her hands together. "I like it, thank you..." You said, waiting for her to say her name. "Lizbeth." She said with a smile. "Thank you, Lizbeth." You both walked out to the front desk. "So, how much?" You asked. "I'll give you a 50% discount since its pretty late, you're pretty, nice, and you chose my shop instead of someone else's." She said, smiling amd blushing towards you. "Wh- Are you sure?!" You said, shocked. "Yes." You paid her what you owed left to find the nearest inn.
The next day, you recieved a bunch of messages from the assault team about a girl named Rosalia who had killed a mans friends and took all their items. There was someone who was searching for her already but you didn't know who. You sighed and started to head down to the lower floors, searching for any clues.
You asked dozens of people, not finding anything until you saw a man on his knees, slumped over, back against the wall. "Are you alright, sir?" You asked. He flinched and looked up at you. "Please help. I don't think that man can help me on his own. He's going to floor 47 to search the flower fields. Please, help me." He begged you, holding your right hand. You reassured him that everything was going to be alright and you headed towards floor 47.
