Chapter 11

Asmodeus' POV
"Oh Y/N~" I called, "where are you darling?"
Y/N had come home from RAD but no-one had seen her since. Everyone was looking for her and I was in charge of the second floor. I'd covered the large bathroom, my bedroom, Satan's bedroom, Levi's bedroom and the two spare bedrooms that were on this floor and last on my list was Lucifer's private library. We weren't supposed to go in there as he kept it as his sanctuary, but, like hell we were going to follow that rule. The amount of pranks we'd pulled in there, the trouble that library had caused us. It made me smile to myself thinking back to all the mess we'd caused in there over the years. Of course though, Y/N would never get in trouble for going in the library - Lucifer loved her too much.
"Y/N!~" I called again, pushing open the door to the library, "Y/N are y-" I was cut off when I saw the little bundle wrapped up on the arm chair, (h/c) coloured tufts poking out the top of a lavender duvet. As I drew closer I noticed the open history book on her lap, the cold tea on the coffee table and the most adorable pinched look on her face. I pulled out my DDD and sent a message to the group chat:

Asmo: Guys!~
Asmo: Guys get to Lucifer's library ~
Asmo: Quickly!~
Asmo: Oh and be quiet! <3~

I walked quickly back to the door to meet the others, "shhhh guys what did I say about being quiet?~" all 6 of them stared at me and Mammon was the first to question 'what the hell they were all doing at the library'. "Look, just come with me alright? But be quiet!" I pouted and guided my brothers over to the armchair where Y/N was still sound asleep. "Look how precious she is!" I squeaked. All of my brothers were smiling.

Your POV
Ugh, I thought to myself, I was awake in my mind but not moving my body. I flinched my shoulders, rolling them backwards and stretching - I'd fallen asleep in such a horrible position and my neck was killing me. I instinctively reached for my neck, slowly opening my eyes, not even sensing the 7 bodies that were surrounding me. "Ugh" I groaned out loud as I sat up, fully opening my eyes and staring at the brothers. "Oh my.. why are you guys here? Ugh I can't believe I fell asleep". I was suddenly flushed at the idea that they had been watching me sleep and I became extremely self conscious. I smoothed down my hair making myself feel more presentable, before unwrapping myself from my duvet burrito and placing the book on the coffee table next to my now-stone-cold tea. I looked back up at the boys, "so why are you all here staring at me while I'm asleep?" They all looked a bit sheepish, staring down at their feet.
"Well uh-" Beel blushed as he looked up at me, trying to offer an explanation for the seven of them standing around me.
"It was Asmo!" Mammon cried, cutting off Beel, "we were all looking for you, Y/N, and Asmo found you in here and texted us to come so, well, we did and then you woke up..."
"Don't be mad at us Y/N, we're sorry" Beel looked very apologetic and embarrassed. All I could do was giggle, "you don't have to apologise Beelzebub, I'm not mad, just slightly embarrassed." I looked down at my hands, feeling my face flush.
"Why are you embarrassed, Y/N?" Asked Leviathan.
"Yes, you're so very cute when you're asleep, Y/N!~" Asmodeus always smiled when he complemented me, it just made me blush even more.
"And everyone sleeps y'know? You just make it look more peaceful and beautiful." Belphegor chimed in.
The compliments made me blush like mad, but overall made me feel better for falling asleep. "Hey, I'm sorry guys, but I guess now I'm awake I gotta finish this book, would you mind leaving me to it?" I had no desire to carry on reading, I was mentally drained and really just wanted to make myself some new tea, have a snack and go right back to sleep. But I've got a job to do, a very important one, and I knew I'd bring on a breakdown if I didn't carry on.
"What? Y/N no! It's already getting late you can't carry on reading!" Levi practically shouted. Oh how I wanted to cave and listen to Levi, crawl back to bed. But I already had the anxiety building up inside of me, knowing how much work was looming over my mind and body, and how vital the work was.
"No Leviathan I can't. You don't understand, I have to finish this!" I was shouting now, scared, upset, mad. None of them understood. I know me, I have to get it done in order to be able to relax with a free conscious. "Please just leave me alone, all of you." I knew I was being rude but I was too stressed to care, "please just go..." my voice drifted off as I held back tears, grabbing the book and opening it up on my bookmarked page.
"Alright, Y/N, I guess we'll leave you to it. Come on guys." I saw Beel turn, herding the others out of the room, leaving me in my long desired silence.

Time skippitydippity

I looked at my DDD. 1:00 am. Great, it had taken me a full 14 hours to finish the book. At least it's done now I guess. That was one thing off my to do lost that I no longer have to stress about, and that thought made me 100 times more relaxed. *knock knock* "Y/N, I'm coming in are you awake?" I heard Levi's voice from outside the door as he walked into the Library. "Ugh, Y/N it's so bright in here!" Levi shielded his eyes with his hands as he made his way towards me. "Are you finished with your book now?" He asked, looking deeply into my eyes.
"Yeah, I've just finished it. I'm so knackered now."
"Come on then, let's get you to bed." Levi took my hand and we left the Library, turning off the light and shutting the door on my last 14 hours of torment.
I went to head for the stairs, my legs feeling as though they would give way under my body.
"Nu-uh, you're staying with me tonight Y/N. My room!s on this floor and I need to talk to you about something. Come on." Levi squeezed my hand as we made our way to his room. It was lit a pale blue that was extremely soothing on my tired eyes. "Here, Y/N, take this." Levi handed me a massively oversized t-shirt and a pair of pyjama trousers, turning his head as I began changing. "Y'know, I'm really sorry for pushing you earlier, Y/N, I didn't mean to upset you. I just didn't think it would be good for you to carry on y'know? You need breaks." He turned around to face me and I could see the solemn look on his face. I knew he was right, but I had no desire to accept what he was saying. Breaks were for the weak and the unsuccessful.
We both crawled into bed and Levi held me tight, his warmth and the scent of his deodorant captivated me; I couldn't stop the tears from coming. "I just get so worked up Levi, you know? There's so much to do and so much pressure and so little time. I don't want to be a screw up. I just have to get things out of the way so I can rest without worrying." I held on to Levi tightly. There was no lust, just love and pure comfort. He made me feel safe and he soothed me - his warmth, his smell. All of it left me drifting off into a wonderful and much needed sleep.
