Walking Around my Feelings

Steve and I kept up the good vibes by walking around some more PAX and holding hands. This felt nice, like when we had been to the museum. And seeing people once again made me happier too, Joey Graceffca and Colleen Ballinger were seen promoting the newest season of Escape the Night, so of course I had to fangirl and squeal a bit in my joy. Steve thought I was hilarious this entire time as I fangirled and stood chuckling next to me when we approached Markiplier's booth, which was full of people. He seemed really happy, signing autographs and talking to fans like they were his best friends since forever. I smiled to myself as he noticed Steve and I standing there, a grin appearing on his face.

"Cassandra? holy shit, its been way too long!"

He came over from behind his booth and hugged me like old times. He and had been friends and basically the reason why I had begun a channel in the first place. Markiplier had changed my life when I got out of the ice. Gave me something to laugh about when I had wanted to cry, helped me remember that for as much evil that is in this world, there is always something or someone to counteract it. With his crazy yelling and swear words, Mark Fishbash helped me heal after Hydra and I couldn't be prouder than to call him my friend and once collegue. We had made a couple videos when I was a Tuber, so at the moment I had thought my life was complete.

"Hey Mark! Its so good to see you, how's Chica?"

He smiled at me letting go. "She's great, how are you Smithy? Who's your handsome friend here, Hmmmmm???" He made a funny face wiggling his eyebrows and I flushed bright red as turned to Steve. "This is Brandon Shmitt, my uh....friend.." Mark rose an eyebrow, not not buying what I was selling . "Yup, suuuuureee Cass, friend. ​​​​​​" He emphasised with a grin and turned to Steve again with a hand out. "Mark Fischbach. Pleasure to meet you Brandon, I'm sure she's in good hands with you as her boyfriend." Steve smirked at him and nodded as they let go. I, however, was hating every second of this because they were talking like I wasn't even there. Men. "She sure is Mark, Cass talks a lot about you." Steve said with a grin on his face. Kill me now, Thor if you can hear me, please smite me where I stand...My mind thought as both men were fast succeeding in making me embarrassed. Come on Pikachu.... Do me a favor and use your Thunderbolt attack......When there was no helpful ending of my life I decided to just grin and bear it. Smiling politely and shrugging. "What? You have real talent dude, and I'm helping spread the good, mustached word about you. If anything I should be getting free merch for all I do."

"Yeah, you should. Can't argue with that. If your telling Captain Frickin America about me!" He exclaimed softly and another wink.

Steve and I stood speechless, tempoaraly stunned that Mark had seen past Steve's disguise when no one else had. But he pulled us closer and gave a reassuring smile to both of us. "Its ok, I'm going to tell anyone. I'm just frickin excited that, one: Captain America knows who I am, and Two: Cass is dating Captain America." He laughed and punched Steve's arm playfully. I breathed a sigh of relief then, I trusted Mark not to tell about Steve being here and so I relaxed and smiled at him. "Well.....um...." I looked at Steve for reassurance. I wasn't going to say we were dating unless I was absolutely sure of it. He nodded and pulled me into a one armed hug. "Yeah, just made my move actually and now we're dating as a couple." He spoke softly, proud I was his girlfriend I guessed. But I still felt strange about it and i knew in my heart I wouldn't use the word "Boyfriend." Not unless I had to. Mark grinned and went back behind his booth, signing a few things for fans that had lined up. It was suppertime now and lines were getting fewer and less foot traffic was going through the arena. So we weren't bothering him too much.
