I barely slept that night. Different outcomes swirling round my head, I went back and forth between them, trying desperately to decide what to do. Do I reject him causing eternal misery for both of us? Or do I accept him, become dependent on him, love him.

I decided that I would just keep changing my mind and that I would just need to see what felt right in the moment. Eugh, I have definitely spent too much time reading Rebekah's books, I've become soft.

I reluctantly rolled out of bed and dressed using my speed. I decided that either way, I wanted to look hot today. Jasper would fall over himself.

I barely spoke to Rebekah that morning, my head spinning with the iminent conversation with Jasper. All too soon, I pulled up next to a Jeep that could only belong to the Cullens. I sat there a little while before hearing a knock on the window and seeing Olivia there. The girl seemed determined to be friends with me, I've got to hand it to her.

"What's up Swan?" I said, jumping down from my Range Rover gracefully.

"I could ask you the same thing, you looked deep in thought there Petrova?" She seemed genuinely interested, not that I would tell her the truth.

"Nothing you need to worry your head over." I responded. "Thanks though," I added as an afterthought.

"If you say so, are you coming? We have English first today." I shook my head.

"I need to deal with something first, I'll meet you there." I told the girl, not looking at her as I spotted Jasper next to a red convertible.

"You better." She joked, walking off.

I walked over to where Jasper stood with his family and grabbed his clothed sleeve pulling him towards the woods. I heard his brother wolf whistle and yell something, but I wasn't worried about him. I still hadn't made my mind up.

Once we were deep enough in the woods, I broke the silence.

"I know. I know we're mates, and I know that you know." I came out with it immediately, straight to the point, that's my style.

"Excellent, so can I do this?" He said, leaning in to try and kiss me. I took a step back shaking my head.

"Not so fast, loverboy. I haven't decided if I'm going to accept it yet." His face showed a broken look at my words. "That doesn't mean no, but you are going to have to work for it." A slightly more positive look adorned his face.

"Anyway, I have a human waiting for me in English. See ya later, loverboy." I waved over my shoulder, making sure to sway my hips. Nothing wrong with torturing the boy before I made my mind up. ;)

"There you are. You are so lucky you're not late, Mr Anderson is on one today." Olivia said as I sat in my chair next to her.

"Trust me Swan, I know what I'm doing. If I said I'd be here, I'll be here. I don't do late, I do on time or not at all." I said flippantly. As much as I might hate being stuck in this dump, I'll turn up or be human and bunk. I don't tolerate lateness.

Class passed quickly and soon it was lunch. Swan invited me to sit with her and Angela, but I decided to torture Jasper a bit more and sit directly opposite him at his families table and ignore him.

"Thanks Blondie, you shouldn't have." I said, sitting next to Jasper's sister, sliding her tray of food over to my place. She wouldn't eat it anyway. She glared at me before laughing.

"Rosalie Hale, I think we are going to get on just fine." She stuck her hand out for me to shake. I waved it off but introduced myself nonetheless.

"Arielle Petrova." I said simply before biting into my apple.

By the end of lunch, Rosalie and I were good friends, for a cold one, she is so like me. Emmett was fun, Alice was sweet but irritating but I could not stand Edward.

Edward was a creep. He told me what people were thinking and he had a snooty air around him, like he thought he was better than everyone else.

I had made my decision by the end of lunch too. Jasper was actually alright, I could learn to love him, I think... Grr, here I go doubting my decisions again let's get this over with.

"Jasper, let's go for a walk." I said walking towards the woods giving him no option but to follow me.

We got to the same part of the woods as earlier before I spoke.

"Jasper I..."
