Travis.

I was in the middle of the mountains. The Appalachian Mountains. I couldn't point these out on a map but for some reason, I knew that was the name. There was a slight breeze, a warmth on my skin from the bright sun, and more trees than I had ever seen. Everywhere I looked it was green.

Lacey walked out of a cottage I hadn't noticed before. The breeze caught on her dress as she came towards me, a smile on her face.

"I love you," she told me.

I was happy.

I was suddenly in New York City, judging by the massive advertisements and lack of personal space on the sidewalk. Noise surrounded me, a stark difference to the serenity of the mountains.

"Are you okay?" Lacey asked, holding my hand.

I was confused about when I had grabbed her hand but even more confused about the camera in my other hand.

...Was I okay?

I was at the Grand Canyon. We were near the edge on a blanket ready to watch the sunrise. Lacey and I had spent the early morning hiking the walking trails in the dark before we found a spot to set up. It was windy and freezing cold. I had a camera in my hand again. Why did I keep getting this? Was this even mine? Where did this come from?

"You're colder than you should be. Hold on," Lacey said but she didn't move so I don't know what she was telling me to hold on for.

The sun started to rise. I dropped the camera over the ledge just to see what would happen. It clattered against a rock and split into pieces on the way down.

I was in Rome and there was no camera in my hand. I knew nothing about Rome but somehow, I was there on the street and could hear the people ambling around me. Which was weird because I didn't use that word. Amble. What in the shit-

"I just want to run into this store and pick up something for dinner," Lacey said, standing next to me.

"I'll wait for you out here," I answered even though she looked pretty enough to not want her out of my sight but that was what came out of my mouth regardless.

Lacey smiled. "Okay, don't leave me."

The scenery changed. I was on top of something and could practically feel my skin burning from the sun. I squinted and looked down. We were climbing the Pyramid of Sun in Mexico City. Obviously.

A camera was in my hand again as I stood at the tip of the pyramid and Lacey was sitting on the steps slightly below me. She was leaning with her elbows propped up on the steps behind her and her head was back, soaking in the sun.
