Lacey.

Travis declared that he was going with me and who was I to say no to him? If he wanted to come, I had no problem with that.

He reached into the box I had gotten, pulling it and before I had a chance to respond about him coming with me, he exclaimed, "Oh! It's a camera!"

"What you mean it's a-" I began because I had told him what it was and the picture was clear on the box.

How did he miss that? I looked at him, not believing my ears, only to see a smile clear on his face and he stuck his tongue out at me for a quick second. I groaned at my naivety.

"While we listen to Elvis on our way back with your stuff, we can take pictures, too," Travis said, flipping the camera every which way in his hand.

Surprisingly, the camera didn't break from him using it as a drum but I wasn't so sure it would survive the next five minutes with the way he was holding it.

"Please don't break it," I winced as he pulled at the zoom lens in a way that I could only see it ending with a snap.

Travis looked at me with amusement. "I'm very careful with my things."

His treatment of the thing in question left room for argument but I guess he hadn't broken it yet.

"Talk to Cam," Travis said as he raised the camera to his face, peering down into the circular end of the lens.

There was a large chunk of what Travis said that left me wondering how he got from one point to the other. I felt like we were in math class and I needed him to show his work. His last statement was no different.

"Why?" I asked, confused.

Travis flipped the camera around, finally looking through the correct part of the viewfinder. "Tell him we want to go."
