[Melkin City Series book #3, please make sure to read the others first]
Things seem grim for Lacey when her and her friends are kidnapped on their way out of Melkin. Travis is separated from the group, she has no idea what happened to Finn and Anna...
Note: I created a new "story" on my page and it's just going to have the nsfw scenes of all of my stories thrown in there just in case people don't want to read it. That means the nsfw scene from Trained One is there. And I've finally gotten to take off the mature rating on Trained One so I'm hoping to get a screenshot of it finally on the trending page bc I think it's the only one I don't have and gotta catch them all

Travis.
I handed Lacey's half of the darts back to her and motioned for her to go first. She threw a dart and hit right on the edge of the bullseye. The urge to wince was there and she must have noticed.
"Do you know how often I practiced throwing knives when I was training?" she asked. "I moved away into an apartment, you know that. And there was nothing for me to do there so all of my downtime went into practicing to get better. Knives are hard to throw. Well, okay, they're not but they're hard to throw on target."
I threw my dart at the bullseye and Lacey scoffed.
"That's just a dart, don't get too cocky. When I wasn't doing that, I was running or working out. I wanted to be able to fend for myself when I came back for you. Josh was the most competitive person I'd met so I practiced and trained with him all the time and it helped a lot."
"You went to a bar with him," I said, interrupting her.
Lacey looked at me oddly. "A few times. How do you know about that?"
I shrugged and kept my mouth shut because I doubted she'd appreciate knowing how close I'd gotten to getting arrested that day.
Instead of taking her turn, she hit my arm. "Seriously."
I stared at her until she turned back to the board. It wasn't until she was in the process of throwing it that I said, "Heard he tried to kiss you, too."
Lacey's dart didn't even hit the board and buried itself into the wall.
