Break Through The Mask

Overcrowded Tables

-4th period-

"Lunch yess~!" David exclaimed as the bell rang. 4th break, lunch time. Arlan, Lui and Jonathan snickered.

"So you're sitting with us, right?" Lui asked Jonathan.

"Yup. Also, does anybody else have Music next?" Jonathan gripped his period table paper.

"Craig is." Arlan smiled.

"Wait, you actually signed up for that?" Lui raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah..."

"Good luck with that then." Lui shook his head a bit. Now Jonathan felt nervous about music.

"LUNCH! LET'S GOOO!!!" Nogla basically broke everyone's eardrums.

They made it to the cafeteria and stepped in line. "How's the food here?" Jonathan asked. "Hmm...like 7 out of 10?" Lui answered. Arlan nodded in agreement. Nogla smiled at the person's back in front of them and tapped his shoulder. "Hi Jack!"

The guy, wearing a grey knitted hat, turned around and immediately grinned at the sight of Nogla. "Eyyy, Nogla! Lui, Droidd, creepy guy."

"FINALLY someone says that!" Jonathan raised his hands up a bit. The guy chuckled.

"This is Jonathan or Delirious, the new kid," Nogla introduced.

"Oh you're the new kid! Cool! I'm Sean but call me Jack." he grinned.

"He's Irish too, if you're wondering," Nogla said.

"Nice to meet you. But I feel like soon I'm gonna have problems with remembering names..." Jonathan crossed his arms.

David and Sean talked about stuff while Arlan, Lui and Jonathan stayed silent. They got their food after a minute of waiting in line and Sean separated.

They found Craig looking at something in his notebook alone in a table. "Missed us?" David smirked. Craig smiled and looked up, "Honestly, yeah. It was getting kinda depressing without you guys." They sat down.

They talked about horror games while eating. Jonathan really loved horror but he didn't really feel like talking. He just ate. He took a sip of his soda and looked around. His eyes slighty widened when he saw Marcel's "gang" just standing around. There were two more guys, one with a greyish cat mask and the other with red-framed black sunglasses.

"Come on, you and Lui are still close!" Jonathan could hear the guy with the geeky shades say.

Marcel sighed, "Yeah, but Tyler-"

"Actually, if you seat me as far away from Craig as possible there won't be a problem..." Tyler looked down at the tray he was holding.

"See?" Evan smiled.

Marcel sighed again, "Fine."

Jonathan quickly turned around when he saw Marcel starting to walk towards their table.

"Hey Lui..." he almost whispered. Lui turned around, swallowing his food. "Oh. Hi Marcel."

"And David, Craig, Arlan, Jonathan."

"Hey," Jonathan said while Arlan waved. David glanced towards Craig who only blinked at Marcel with a blank expression.

"What's up?" Lui asked.

"There are no free tables, that's what's up."

"...Oh. So you want to...sit with us?" Lui asked awkwardly. Craig's eyes shot up as he kneed Lui's leg under the table. Lui turned towards him but quickly turned back to Marcel again because of  the deadly glare.
