"You're staying with us tonight," Yoongi said firmly.
"WHAT?" I almost yelled. I heard a few voices ask the same question I did, but I was far too confused to notice who these voices belonged to.
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Its 2 am. Would you rather go home alone and get into more trouble or stay here where it's safe?"
He had a point, but still why would I get in trouble? And most importantly, why would I trust them and stay with them? How the hell is it safe here?
As if reading my thoughts, Yoongi continued. "You already trusted that we won't harm you when you told us your story. Why don't you continue trusting us and stay here? We will protect you"
The brown-haired man shot a look at him, then turned to me, a smile finally appearing on his face. "If Yoongi said we will protect you, then we will stop at nothing to keep you safe."
That reassured me a little. He seemed like an actually decent human being when he smiled, and I felt that maybe I could trust them. After all, we were avoiding the same man.
But still, how can I trust someone so easily? I was torn between two opposing decisions.
"I appreciate your offer, but I think I have to refuse," I spoke after a few moments of silence. "I only cooperated with you to get out of here, and now that you know the whole story, you should honor your part of our deal and let me out"
"I'm only keeping you here because I now know the whole story" Yoongi irritatedly explained as he stood up. "Stop refusing, kid, and let's go. Jimin, take her with you to the guest room"
I made a mental note that if he ever called me 'kid' one more time I am going to smack him across the head. He walked away before I could reply.
I was immediately approached by the silver-haired man, who must have been Jimin, he tapped my shoulder and smiled. "I know it's hard, but you can trust us. We'll take care of you" His soothing voice must have been laced with magic because I finally relaxed.
I took a look at the rest of the group, and almost all of them gave me sympathetic smiles. It seemed like they knew better than to argue with their boss.
"Fine," I mumbled, not sure if I was heard.
"Come on," The man next to me said. "Let's go upstairs."
I followed him out to the hallway as the rest of the members walked behind us, except for Yoongi, who was already way ahead. We reached an elevator and made our way upstairs. At the first level, the Dj and the guy with the neck tattoo exited the elevator, followed by Jimin, who took me by the hand and gently escorted me out. The rest remained in the elevator to reach their destination.
"You must have a million questions," Jimin said. "Why don't you go rest and we can discuss everything in the morning?"
"No," I protested. "I need answers. Now. How can I trust you guys, or rest when I don't even know who you are?"
The DJ must've been listening to us because he chuckled and said "Let's go to the kitchen then, we'll answer all your questions as we eat because I'm starving"
I resisted the urge to punch him in the gut. How is he so chill in this situation?
The kitchen was just ahead of us, its an open space in front of a living room, and around the living room, I noticed 4 doors, 2 on either side of adjacent walls. Luckily, the space was big or otherwise I would have been extremely uncomfortable.
Jimin and I sat at the kitchen table while the two other men started looking around the kitchen and preparing some food. I had a million things to say, at least a hundred questions and no idea where to start. It must have shown on my face somehow because Jimin chuckled at me.
