Part 2
The sun's rays shining through the crack woke Lis slowly. Her wound stopped bleeding but to go sure she left the cloth on it. She took a bite of the bread. She had already eaten half of it.
-
Around her was a mysterious silence. Not a single noice from any creature.
//Are they still sleeping? Or was it only a Dream?//
~No it wasn't a dream.~
A man walked in. He grabbed Lis's arm and pulled her with him in the arena.
-
In the middle of the arena sat the man. His face was again covered with a mask but he didn't wore his hood this time.
"'Morning. Did you sleep well?"
Lis nodded.
"Okay, your father isn't here yet so we can start a little easier this time."
-
He went to arms and grabbed two daggers, one of them he gave to Lis. "Here"
He took the dagger and stood next to Lis.
"Look at me and then do it like me."
He swung the knife and always stacked in the air.
In this way, Hallstein taught Lis over weeks how to hold and guide a knife.
But everytime when her father arrived they had to continue with his pain program and one day... he arrived earlier.
-
He picked him up by the collar and pressed him against a wall.
"Are you kidding me?! What the hell are you doing? Remember my plan! Or do you wanna end up like them?"
He pointed to a cell full of hungry bony prisoners.
"Did you hear me?"
"Yes Sir! I will not disappoint you again."
Hellstein looked at Lis with regret.
Hegar pushed Lis aside.
"And you! We need to talk."
He punched Lis in her stomach. He turned his attention away from her and pushed Hellstein aside. "You're weak Lis."
-
But she was still standing.
"Let him!"
"Huh? You grew stronger?"
He passed, looked back and knocked her against head.
"But not strong enough."
-
Lis was wide awake lying on the cold floor, but she was like frozen and couldn't move.
He stepped on her.
"Do you hear? Weak! You are not strong enough! This is your fault!I played nice every fucking day. I've had enough. That you can't even meet the smallest of requirements ... hopeless! Ungrateful! I'm not just doing it for myself! From now on you will be under observation during the training!"
He literally beat Lis back into the cell and the bangs echoed through the tunnels.
-
Lis lay in the corner and squinted at Hegar. The blood ran down the corners of her mouth and some of her old wounds opened again.
Then he left without saying something or even looking back.
