Lis had been hanging there for 10 or 15 days. She had stopped counting. Every day she was given a little water to drink so that she was barely alive. She couldn't sleep and it got colder every day. It felt like her legs had died and her head was going to explode every second.
Hegar came every day and gave her this injection, a little more every day.
And every day she wished more and more that he would die slowly and painfully and blood would flow.
-
The big wound on her shoulder was healing fast even if her body freezed. The wound healed inner 20 days and was completely gone.
But the wound in her heart and her soul would never heal.
It also felt like the syringes were getting weaker.
-
One day Lis had bitten through the cloth in her mouth and it fell down on the ground.
Hegar came with his injection and put it on her neck. At the same moment, she bit him in the arm. Blood flowed over his arm. He screamed and slapped Lis in the face.
"You little... Useless! What should I do with you! You're just hopeless!"
-
Lis's bite tightened. Blood spurt on her face.
Her eyes shone bright and dangerous like rubies, it was as if they were glowing. But before anything else could happen, Hegar released his arm.
-
He turned and went back to the table. He filled the syringe at least with the double of amount then he tore a flower and dust came out.
This uncontrollable fear of death rose up and Lis started to panic again.
She fidgeted wildly and tried to free herself.
"What is it? What are you doing? What happens ?!"
She asked wildly.
When Hegar put the syringe in her, there was a loud and painful scream.
And as she was froze, tears ran down her face.
-
The only thing she could move were her eyes. The fear of death crept over her face and than straight up over her body to her toes. It felt like it would swallow her.
Hegar turned his back so Lis and slowly took the word.
"It's poison. Speed stinger poison. It holds you back and also your creating an immunity against it. It's actually surprising that the wound already healed. Your body will creat this immunity fast. After it reached it we'll start training again. But we'll have to do it better than before..."he said with a cold tone and gaze.
-
"We'll see, we'll see. Maybe you still have great potential."
He turned to lock the door with countless locks.
Then he went away and you could only hear those dull footsteps.
-
Lis had no choice but to accept her fate. However, she decided to do her best to one day get her revenge.
-
She concentrated on her fingers and tried to move them. At first nothing happened but she couldn't stop now, she couldn't just gave up without a fight. She had to try, she had to stay strong and be strong.
-
And then she could feel it, she could feel how her finger slowly moved.
It was like her body would thaw.
For the first time she could see a little glimmer of hope...
She tried the same thing every day amd from day to day she reached her goal faster and faster.
-
One day, she had been in this for the past 5 month now, Hegar came in for the same routine as always.
-
He gave Lis the injection but her body only froze for a few seconds.
"Ok that was pretty fast. Maybe I I underrated your body..."
-
He dropped the Lis in chains on the floor and freed her. Lis tried to stand but collapsed again and again.
"Well, it seems your train has to start soon." He hit her on the back of the head and she collapsed again.
-
He grabbed the girl, who was just bone and skin, and dragged her into the dark with him.
