He took Lis by the wrist and moved away from the group.

They walked to a place on the Island which Lis never saw before. It was a dark wet and cold place. "Dad? Where are we and what are we doing here?" she whispered.

He took a deep breath. "As you may know, our people are a group of assassins and berserkers." Lis looked up at her father with her blood-red eyes.
"Even if you are a girl and always will be. You are the boss's daughter - my daughter and no matter what, I need to prepare you for what will come in the future."
