Someone yelled at her and slapped her in the face.
"Where have you been so long! I told you to hurry up! Your mother is waiting! But no! You did everything else! Right!" stammered Hegar because he was drunk again. Lis looked down.
"I'm sorry, father."
-
Hegar looked serious. He was about to scarf Lis again when the little dragon stood between them and bit Hegar in the foot. "What kind of cattle is that?" He kicked the little one away like a thing.
"What are you doing!" Lis screamed. "Don't hurt him! He's just a child!" "Get his thing out of my house!" "No!" "What? Are you opposing me?" Hegar looked darkly at Lis. "He's hurt! He needs my help. I found him and I will care about him!" "Fine. But when I only see him once down in this room his future will be a tiny dream. Now go! Your mother is waiting."
-
Lis ran to her mother. You could already hear them coughing wide. "Don't worry, mother. I'm here." The little dragon sat in front of the bed and looked at Lis. She put her hand on her mother's forehead. She had a high fever.
-
Lis did whatever she could do and left the room then. She went to her room and made room for the little dragon. "You know what? You look like a little Karma. Do you like this name?" The dragon gurred happily. "So now your name is Karma," Lis smiled.
-
A few days later, when the sun rose and Hegar stormed into Lis' s room to wake her, she wasn't there and the little dragon was gone too.
"Lis! You little! Where are you!"
"Oh come on honey. Let her be a kid. She'll be outside and playing with the other kids."
-
Lis's mother had woken up. Her fever had dropped and she was feeling better.
-
In one part of the forest where it was still dark you could hear a girl laughing.
"-Hehe catch me Karma!
-Ba no you missed me!
-Here I am!
-No here! Hihi"
-
A branch broke and Lis was startled. She turned around.
A boy ran past and waved a stick around.
"Ha! Take this!"
Lis looked confused at him.
"Jax?"
Jax screamed like a girl.
"Aaaahhhh! L Lis what are y you doing here?" The stick fell out of his hands on the floor.
"I'm I'm playing." "Oh, ok. Soo...... then I will go on again." He went red.
-
Lis saw the first rays of sunshine. A cold wind blew around her. Her eyes widened. Like another person, she ran back to the village! "Hurry up karma!"
-
Lis ran past the people and into a group with children their age.
