Lis stepped into the arena and walked to Hallstein.
10 meters away of him she stopped. He had a mad look on is face and the Dragon on his arm looked like he wanted to kill someone.
-
He began.
"Young one! Remember that dragon on my arm? What did I told you about it?"
-
Lis was kinda confused of what would happen next but she answered his question quick.
"It's a terrible terror. Very small but big flames. They are easy to train but normally they don't come alone. their shots are very precise and accurate and their limit is 10 shots."
-
"That's right. This one is perfectly trained to be fast, silent, invisible and attacking strong."
He opened the small chain on his leg and put his hand on his "helmet", which was the reason why he didn't fly away.
"On your father's orders will you fight against him to learn how to be just like him. You can choose between dying, killing or surviving. The only things you'll have are your hands. So always remember what I teached you."
-
He took the hood off the dragon. He quickly orientated himself and before Lis knew it he became one with the surroundings.
-
It seemed like a quick fight and in the end the dragon would win. And when he attacked, Lis couldn't even prepare. His claws bored deep into her neck and between her ribs.
It hurt and Lis screamed deafening. She felt sick and her vision became cloudy. A shrill noise silenced everything around them. Hidden like it wasn't there.
-
Lis almost passed out. It felt empty. At the wrong place.
She tried to push the dragon away, but she wasn't strong enough. She just wanted to close her eyes and wish everything was just a dream.
-
"Open your eyes. It's too early to go. Stay awake. I know you can do it! You can be strong and you can survive."
She widened her eyes. She knew that voice but she couldn't see someone. Just a shadows that slowly went away with a smile its face.
"M-mother? No, don't go! Please stay."
Before the shadow completely disappeared it turned around and its last words made Lis crying.
"No baby. I don't belong here and you also don't. Your strong enough to fight it. I knoe you will survive."
-
Lis snapped back into reality. Her shoulder and ribs were hurting and bleeding a lot but after these words no one would break her so fast again.
