(Alex's POV)

I woke up naked and alone this morning.
It was the morning after Piper's bachelorette party that Polly Hobby had put together for her and the morning after we had had so much loving hate sex, our limbs were sore.
Both of us needed to get over our shit once and for all and fuck we sure as hell did that last night.

I turned onto my side and found a note on my nightstand written by Piper.

Al,
Had to go into the firm earlier than expected this morning. Our managing partner pulled forward the deposition.
I'll be back soon, she's given us the day off after we deal with this.
So, snow day for us?

I rolled back onto my back after reading her note and grinned, deciding to get out of bed to go make my morning coffee after wrapping myself in a robe.
I'd only just flopped onto our couch with my book and coffee when there was a knock on our door.
I take a gulp of my coffee, set it on the coffee table in front of me, put my book on the couch cushion beside me and pull my robe tighter before I answer our door.
"Hey Vause! Miss me?!" Nicky as good as happily yelled at me from the other side.
I grinned.
"Nichols?! What're you doing here?! I ask her happily.
"Piper told me where you guys lived and I got released today. The useless pieces of shit that are my parents actually decided to be parents and got me a place to live not far from here. Thought I'd stop by and say hi." She explains.
"Well come in!" I say, opening the door wider for her and stepping aside, letting her in.
"I've just made coffee, want a mug? It's single origin." I ask her.
"Sure." Nicky says and looks around seeing no sign of Piper.
"Where's blondie?" She asks.
"At work. Her managing partner pulled forward her deposition, she should be home soon." I tell her as I wait for our coffee machine to brew her a mug then bring it to her and sit with her on the couch and lift my own mug again, taking a sip.
"Looks like you two finally made a good life for yourselves huh?" She notes and takes a sip of her coffee, "Fuck, that's good stuff." She comments appreciatively.
I chuckle.
"We have. From here on in there will be no more fuck ups. Just us." I say with a smile but also with a slight growl.
Nicky notices but before she could ask I continue cautiously.
"So, uh, how're you and Lorna?" I tentatively ask.
"Non-existent." She states and continues,
"Look Vause, in black and white I just need to get over her. She needs help not a relationship. So I uh, I was wondering, do you know of anyone I could be an answer to prayer for or to set me up with?" She smirks but I knew her question was serious. She was tired of falling for girls only to have them leave her or be unavailable. I knew her pain. I knew her pain in the form of my blonde dork who I was about to real world marry.
Then, thinking about last night and a certain redhead I very much wanted rid of, an idea sparked in my head and the smirk on my face was obviously maniacally visible since Nicky chuckles beside me and asks,
"What's that devious face for?"
My smirk grows wider at her question.
"How do you feel about a successful redhead?" I reply.

My plan here was to get Zelda away from all romantic feelings towards Piper. Now I knew she did really want to be with me, let's just say I'm feeling even more possessive of her. Piper is mine and only mine.

"Is she hot?" Nicky asks, breaking me from my thoughts.
I pout, "According to Piper."
She smirks.
"Ah. I see what's going on here Vause. You two are now in the possessive 'she's mine' phase of your relationship. But, never fear, I'll make the hot, successful redhead disappear." She winks and chuckles.
I roll my eyes playfully and smirk.
"Thanks Nichols and be sure to crank up your delightful charm with this one. She's zoned in on my wife and her hypnotism of Piper ends now. Pipes is mine to hypnotise. I proved it when she walked in on me fucking Piper stark naked on the couch the other day but let's just say I want to make my message crystal clear." I chuckle evilly.
"Wait? This couch?" Nicky asks, looking at it in approving disgust as if she was looking for any traces of Piper's cum.
We end up just snickering together when the door opens and the noise of heels clicking echos down the hall. Piper was home.
Excellent.
"Alex?!" She calls.
"In here babe!" I call back.
She follows my voice and sees me sitting with Nicky. Her face grows into a full beam upon seeing our friend.
"Nicky!" She shouts and strides over to hug her tightly.
"Heya blondie. I got out today and I figured I'd come over to say hi. Your other half here was just filling me in on what's been happening." She tells her.
"So what's so funny?" Piper asks as I pull her down onto my lap, still wearing my smirking, maniacal expression as Nicky looks between her and I.
"Oh nothing blondie, just two friends catching up." She answers.
I say nothing and pull Piper backwards, further into me, wrapping my arms all the way around her and sucking her ear into my mouth, nibbling it every so often.
Nicky chuckles to Piper "I see you're back to being Vause's sucking candy Chapman." She comments as I continue to shamelessly feel Piper up, continuing to suck on her earlobe.
"You know me Nicky, popcorn Piper." Piper replies shrugging, referencing our nickname conversation from before, resigned to the fact that she's trapped on my lap and has no option but to sit here and let me feel her up as Nicky makes small talk.

After about an hour of talking and catching up, Nicky gets up.
"Well I guess I better go. It was really great seeing you guys and seeing you guys happy for once." She says and heads to our front door.
"Okay well it was great seeing you Nicky. Alex could you let her out? I just really need to change out of these work clothes." Piper asks me.
"Sure babe." I say pecking her on the cheek and watch her hungrily as she disappears into our bedroom.
My plan was to re-hypnotise Piper and take her completely back from Zelda and it was making me feel extra predatory towards my blonde baby.
At the door Nicky chuckles to me,
"Proving a point there were we Vause?"
I snicker and say again,
"Mine to hypnotise Nichols, mine to hypnotise."
She laughs and says,
"Well I'll leave you to hypnotise your blonde federal prosecutor a little more."
I had to close my eyes and swallow hard at this.
Piper as a federal prosecutor was such a turn on for me it was beyond belief.
I let a hum of desire come out from deep in my chest.
"Mm, careful how you describe her Nichols, you might just get me revved up even more and that may prove to be even more dangerous for her." I smirk and she winks at me.
"Have a great fuckathon." She tells me with a shit eating grin.
I laugh,
"Oh, believe me, we will." I assure her and shut the door, turning around and go on the hunt for Piper so I could make hot love to my one and only.
