(Aria's POV)

Five minutes.

Ten minutes.

After fifteen minutes I ran to the monitor room. I looked at every camera at every angle but saw nothing.

No Ryu.

Nothing.

"Something isn't right." I mumbled.

I backed up the feed by fifteen minutes and started watching it through. I gasped and clasped my hand over my mouth then I saw what happened.

Once Ryu was on the ground two men made quick work of picking him up as a van pulled up and they threw him inside.

"Oh my gosh." I muttered. "F*ck."

The men were smart and avoided letting the cameras see their faces. I didn't know what they looked like or who they were.

"What do I do?" I asked out loud as I started to cry.

I freaked out and cried for around twenty minutes before I came up with something. I grabbed my cellphone and called a number Ryu made me memorize.

She answered on the third ring.

"彼はそこにいますか?" I asked.
(Is he there?)

"階下。 ちょっと待って."
(Downstairs. Hold on a second.)

Seconds later he got on the phone.

"Ryu? That you?"

"It's Aria."

"Ari? Why are you calling?"

"Aimoto," I cried.

"Ari, what happened? Where's is Ryu?"

"He was taken."

"What do you mean taken?"

"They hit him with a dart. He couldn't see it coming."

"Where are you?"

"New York."

"He have a system set up?"

"Yeah."

"Patch me through to it. I'll tell you how."

"Okay."

He talked me through it and within minutes he'd taken control over the system.

"Watch the footage from today."

I knew he was watching it when I heard him start to curse.

"To much of a p*ssy to try to take him out up close." He muttered.

"What do we do?" I asked.

"I'm going to go through every shot of this footage and try to clear it up enough or find something that'll help. You just stay put and don't do anything. He'll kick your ass if you don't. I swear to you Ari, we will find him."

"Thank you Aimoto."

Aimoto is a hacker and computer genius that has helped Ryu out several times before. He works from the basement of his grandmothers home because that's the last place anyone would look for a genius multimillion dollar hacker.

Hours ticked by and I grew more nervous with each passing second. My nervousness skyrocketed when the motion sensors went off again and someone knocked on the door.

I knew it wasn't Ryu.

He wouldn't knock.

With knife still in hand I approached the door with small soft steps. I got close enough to and grabbed the handle. My hands were shaking and I needed to take several deep breaths before I yanked the door open to reveal the two people behind it.
