(Aria's POV)
"What are you doing here?" I asked as Vincenzo and Valentine walked in.
"Came to talk to Ryu. Where is he?" Vince asked.
"Not here."
Vince then studied me for a second before speaking. "What has happened? You've been crying."
I took them into the monitor room and showed them.
"And you've just been sitting here since then?"
"What else am I do?! You blacklisted him, so no one is going to help! We don't know anyone here!" I yelled getting angry.
Vince opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by my phone.
"Aimoto?" I said answering it.
"It's me."
"What have you got?"
"It's not good, Ari."
"What is it, Aimoto?!"
"It wasn't easy and I had to call in a favor, so tell Ryu he owes me when you see him."
"Aimoto!"
"Sorry. Go look at the screen."
"Already am." I said looking down.
"Okay. Now I'm going to show you what I found. I managed to clean the image up enough to get a partial plate." He said, showing me a clearer image than the one before.
"Just a partial?"
"Yeah. But it was good enough to lead me somewhere. There's a company there in New York with cars and vans you can rent. All of their license plates have the same first three letters. That van belongs to that company."
"So?"
"So, I managed to track down the owner and operator of the company."
"Who is it?"
"Haru Tanaka."
"Tanaka took him?" I asked causing Vince and Val to perk up.
"Yes and no."
"Yes and no?"
"He took him, but he didn't do it alone. He just provided the car."
"Who was it provided to?"
"Nakamura."
"What? That can't be right."
"Nakamura got in from Tokyo last night. Tanaka called him and told him that Ryu was starting to cause trouble."
"Is there any way to find out where they took him?"
"No."
His voice sounded off when he answered and that told me he wasn't telling me everything.
