3: Defective

      ADRIAN

        I lighted another stick of my favorite cigarette and poured some brandy into the wine glass that I was holding. Ngayon ko lang napagtanto na nasa Pilipinas na ako and my brother is back in Taiwan pretending to be me. This has to end right away.

       Kapag tumagal ang pananatili ko dito, magiging mahirap lalo ang sitwasyon ni Edrian. Leaving him behind with dangerous people lurking around him is not what I promised him but a peaceful life.

      Tiningnan ko mula sa Ipad na hawak ko ang mukha ng taong tumarantado sa kapatid ko. Ryan Saavedra wearing a pair of shades and a casual pair of shirt and pants walking inside a mall. Matagal ko na siya pinababantayan even before I even got back to this country.

       I sipped some brandy and I smirked at the face of my brother's rapist. I want him to never get back to his feet again after everything that I will do to him.

      I picked up my phone at may tinawagan akong tao na maaaring makatulong sa akin sa pagpapabagsak ko ng tuluyan kay Ryan.

      "We Zhi? Can you do me a favor?" may paglalambing kong hiling sa taong kausap ko.

     "Adrian.. This is the first time that you asked me a favor? You know you can always ask me anything. You have done so much for me with my transactions in big companies."

    Napangiti ako sabay hithit ng sigarilyong hawak ko. I just called the right person to anihilate my enemy down to his last limb.

       "I want you to buy all the shares of Highlands and oust Ryan Saavedra as its CEO. I know this is a piece of cake for you."

      "Highlands Construction? Hmmm-- I have been trying to get into the construction business and I think you just given me a good prospect. Consider it done, Adrian."

      Napangiti ako. Siguradong magiging pulubi si Ryan Saavedra matapos niyang mapaalis ng tuluyan sa kompanyang napalaki ng mga magulang niya gamit ang pagbebenta ng droga at pagsusugal. He will end up in the slumps with no penny and power to hold on.

      At pagkatapos nun, ipaparamdam ko sa kanya ang sakit na naranasan ng kapatid ko sa panggagahasa niya dito. Mas higit pa doon ang gagawin ko sa kanya.

       "Thank you, We Zhi.. I will see you when I can, to personally show my gratitude."

      Pagkatapos noon ay binaba ko na ang tawag ko sa kanya. Now all I need to do is show up in front of Ryan Saavedra and make him go crazy and watch him fall down in front of me.

       Nasa harap ako ngayon ng Highlands Construction building. I can feel the stares being darted towards my direction. Siguro dahil na rin sa commanding aura na meron ako. I put on my shades and walked towards the entrance of the building. Kita ko pa ang pagkabigla ng isang guwardiya na biglang kinuha ang kanyang radio na nasa kanyang bewang.

     "Excuse me, Sir. Check lang po ng ID." salubong sakin ng isang pang guard ng entrance and I pulled out my wallet and showed them my fake ID. Me being Edrian is somehow giving me some freedom from my normal way of living.

     Ayokong magkamali. Kalkulado lahat ng ginagawa ko. I make wise decisions when it comes to my business and I never mix it with pleasure. Hindi ako emotional na tao. Siguro ganun na talaga ako noon pa man. I was always the strong one.

    "Edrian Aragon? Sir? Eh di po ba, kayo yung Executive Assistant ni Boss Ryan na matagal na niyang hinahanap?"

     Tiningnan ko lang ang guwardiya mula ulo hanggang paa at inayos ang manggas ng uniform niya.
