10. 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒆

"I can't believe my best friend is on the girl's volleyball team!!" Mira cheers while you guys are walking to your next class.

"Is it really that surprising?"

"YES!! Just a few weeks ago, you were so cold, quiet, and kind of boring," she jokes as you glare at her.

"Well, have fun at PE! I'm going to class," she says then leaves you.

"Hey (F/N)-chan!" Atsumu suddenly appears with Suna, Ginjima, and Osamu.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"Did you literally forget? We all have PE together!" Suna face palms himself; it's already been two months of school and you still didn't realize.

"Guess what we're playing today, (F/N)-chan?" Atsumu smiles.

"What?"

"Volleyball!! Let's be on opposing teams!"

"Good, I didn't want to be on the same team as you," You calmly say and start walking away with the rest of the boys as Atsumu pouts.

"I was just kidding!! I want to be on the same team as you!"

"No, I want to be with my teammates from the beginning," You tease and grab Suna and Osamu's arms.

This causes the two boys to blush a little.

With all of your guys' interactions, other students start to notice and frown.... Especially the girls.

"When did she become so close to the Miya twins?"

"She's literally flirting with all four of them at once!"

"Don't you know? She's the daughter of a famous volleyball player!"

"Yeah, I saw her play back then in middle school but I totally forgot how she looked until now!"

"I didn't even realize it was her." People would say. You let go of the boy's arms and put on your poker face. Although you were happy to be on the girl's team for a week now, it didn't help that everyone was now talking about you and started to take notice of you.

"Don't listen to what they have to say," Ginjima gives you a reassuring smile as you give him a tiny smile back.

"Thank you."

"Alright class, I don't really care who is on your team, just separate into teams of six," the teacher announces.

"Come on guys, let's just form a team then we'll find the last person!" Atsumu excitedly says as the four of you just stare at him.

"What's the fun if we are all on the same team? We're all on the volleyball team!" Ginjima said as the others nod.

"You don't want to be in a team together and defeat everyone?" he pouts as you guys just shake your guys' heads.

"What's the fun with all of that if we are already better than everyone?" Suna asks but in the end, all of you decided to form a team since all of the girls were being annoying.

"Hina-chan! Be on our team!" You said when you noticed Hina was also in your guys' class. Throughout the week of practice with the girls, the two that you had gotten most comfortable with were Kaze and Hina.

"Are you sure?" She asks as you just nod and the other boys just agreed.

"Now, we are the undefeatable team!!" Atsumu cockily says as you all just sweat.

"There's nothing to be proud of when you're just going to be defeating newbies," you bluntly respond as he feels an arrow hit his head.

"Alright, let's just win!" Ginjima said like a captain and the matches started. In the end, you all were just playing around and lost a lot of points trying to hit as hard as you guys can and trying new techniques.

"I'm going to try the super underhand serve," you joke when it was your turn to serve.

"YES, you do that queen," Suna yawns. The other teams were winning, yes, but it didn't mean that they weren't afraid of you guys. You guys were spiking and serving balls super hard towards their way. They just got lucky that you guys were playing around and hitting it out. Then you hit your super underhand serve that hit the ceiling and came straight back down on their court almost hitting one of their players who squealed like a pig.

"O-oh! Sorry! I really didn't mean to do that," you apologize to the guy who was still in shock.

"OI! THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM WITH ACTUAL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS, STOP MESSING AROUND AND ACTUALLY PLAY CORRECTLY!!" Your guys' teacher yells which causes all of your teammates to stop laughing at what you did.

"We're sorry!" You all yelled.

"Now go run a lap around the track! You guys lost!" He said as you guys just start running towards the track.

"Maybe we should actually try playing for reals. I don't want to keep running on the track," Suna complains as you all were running.

"But it's more fun experimenting new moves on newbies," Atsumu gives an evil laugh which makes everyone cringe.

"Yer evil, Tsumu," Osamu comments which makes Astumu yell at him.

"Oi, You guys!!" You all turn and see Ojiro, Kita, and Omimi.

You all run towards them.

"Today, we are having a joint practice, so meet at the girl's gym," Kita said and sees that all of you guys were together.

"Why are you all together... running... on the track... while no one else is?" He asks seriously as all of you guys sweat.

"W-we are in PE," Ginjima starts.

"We're all in the same class," Suna explains.

"A-and we were playing volleyball," Atsumu said next.

"We are all on the same team," Hina hesitates.

"We lost," Osamu said next.

"And we were playing around so our teacher made us run," You bluntly respond as the boys turn to glare at you.

Kita shakes his head as Ojiro and Omimi laugh their butts off.

"So much for the best volleyball players/team in the prefecture," Ojiro jokes as the second years just turn to look away from the third years.

"Just don't do something stupid that will stop you guys from playing with your actual team. See you guys later," Kita sighs then the third years walk away from their kouhais.

"Let's go back," Ginjima said after that.

"The last one there buys everyone ice cream!!" Osamu yells as you all start running back to the gym where your guys' class was at.

In the end, Suna was the last one due to his lack of stamina and dedication to actually try.

"Yay!! Ice cream after practice today!" Atsumu shouts like a kid as you just give a tiny smile.

"That was fun," You whisper while smiling at all of your friends who were making fun of Suna.
