Elemental Enemies [COMPLETED]

TW: Angst, crying hero's. Btw I know that deceits name is Janus but I'm going to leave it the way it is so it's easier.

3rd POV again
Virgil had arrived at the base and was currently standing in front of the door. He was mentally and physically preparing himself for Remus and Deceits rage, Virgil knew that he was going to be in a lot of pain for the next week. Come on Virgil! You can do this. This is for your boyfriends. At the thought of his boyfriends' expressions when they see the note made his eye water and look longingly at the direction of the house. He shook his head sadly and looked back at the door, feeling the familiar feeling of anxiety rush through him. Raising his shaky hand, he reached out and grabbed the door knob and twisted it as slow as possible, hoping to prolong his pain. The door creaked open to reveal the pitch black hallway that was in front of him. Virgil took a few steps forward into the base and looked around warily, trying to spot either Deceit or Remus waiting for him. Once he was good way from the door, the door slammed shut, creating a bang that made Virgil jump a good few feet of the floor. Virgil took a deep breath to try and prevent a panic attack rising and tried looking around but found nothing but darkness.

Suddenly, footsteps could be heard from all around. Virgil spun around trying to pin-point where the sound was coming from but couldn't. Another set of footsteps joined in with the mix. Virgil tried to use his shadows to feel where they were coming from, but with his anxiety clouding his senses he wasn't able to. The footsteps stopped in their tracks and now the silence was back, Virgil could hear his panicked breaths. A hand was landed on his shoulder and Virgil spun around to see Deceit smirking evilly at him. "Goodbye Anxiety" Deceit hissed before punching Virgil, rendering him unconscious.

Back with the hero's, Logan had just woken up and rubbed his eyes. He looked around for his glasses that were on the coffee table. He grabbed them and put them on while looking down at Roman who was laying on lap, his mouth open with drool coming out. Logan looked to his right and found Patton's head on his shoulder with Logan's arm around his waist. He smiled at the sight of his boyfriends but frowned once he noticed that Virgil was missing. I'm sure he just went to the bathroom. Logan thought and stood up after putting his boyfriends in a comfortable position so that it wouldn't wake them. Logan stretched and cracked his neck and back. He walked into the kitchen, not noticing the note that was placed on the coffee table. Logan put the coffee maker on, yawning while he did so. Logan jumped a bit as someone put their arms around his waist, leaning their head on his shoulder. "Good morning love" Roman said, placing a sleepy kiss on his neck. Logan blushed and cleared his throat. "Morning Ro" Logan replied.

"I thought you were Virgil for a second" Logan said, leaning into him a bit. Roman shook his head into Logan's shoulder. "Do you know where he is?" Roman asked waking up a bit more and looked at Logan worriedly. "I think he's in the bathroom" Logan said, concerned. "Should...should we check?" Roman asked, letting go of Logan so that he could face Roman. Logan nodded. "Yes we should. Wake up Patton for me will you." Logan said. Roman nodded with a mischievous smile on his face. "Gently!" Logan said, walking behind him. Roman glanced at him and nodded. "I will calm down calculator watch" Roman said and Logan sighed at the nickname. Roman suddenly shifted into his tiger form and walked up to where Patton was lying. "I said gently. Transforming yourself into your tiger form would scare him" Logan stated, frowning at the tiger. Said tiger rolled his eyes and sat down. The next thing you know, Roman roared waking up Patton who screamed and fell off the couch. Roman shifted back and started laughing while Logan was chuckling. Patton stood up and glared at Roman who stopped laughing and looked nervous at the glare he was receiving. "heh heh Patton my sweet, my love, cookie I was merely-" Roman was interrupted by Patton.

"I'm giving you three seconds to run" Patton said darkly. Roman gulped and started running while Logan watched in amusement. Patton calmed down and started chuckling and Logan looked at him questionably. "Aren't you going to chase after him?" Logan questioned. Patton shook his head and gave Logan a hug which was returned. "Watching him run around and hide is funnier" Patton giggled, looking up at Logan. "You are sneaky and I love it" Logan smiled and kissed him softly. Patton hummed in satisfaction and wrapped his arms around his neck. They separated after a bit both being flustered. "Awe how come I don't get morning kisses?" Roman pouted from behind the couch. "Well come here and we'll give you some." Patton said. Roman smiled and jumped over the couch. Before anything started Patton spoke. "Wait where's Virgil?" Patton asked. Logan and Roman looked at each other before saying something. "We were about to go look for him" Roman said. "Let's go look for him now so we can all have morning kisses" Logan said. They nodded and split up looking for Virgil. Patton was looking up stairs, Logan was the living room while Roman checked the roof since they found Virgil up there one time.

Logan looked around for him but found nothing. He was about to tell the others of his progress when he spotted a sheet of paper on the coffee table. Logan mentally slapped himself for not noticing it earlier and picked up. He read what it said and yelled for Patton and Roman. They came down into the living room and saw that Logan was on the floor with tears rolling down his face. They rushed over to him and asked him what happened and what was wrong. All Logan would do was point to the paper that was back on the coffee table. They both read it and figured out what happened, Virgil had gone back to them to prevent them from getting hurt. All of them were touched and heartbroken that he would do this. Roman and Patton sat down next to Logan and hugged each other tightly. "We're going to get him back." Roman reassured them. "And we'll put Deceit and Remus away forever."

"I promise"

Did I do good? I think I'm being mean making you guys wait and be impatient about what's going to happen. Hopefully I did okay with the 3rd POV thing, it's different from what I'm used to but hopefully I'll get it right. As always stay tuned for the next chapter! See ya guys
