Dewott stares at her reflection in the water, screaming. Braixen shyly begins to back away.
DEWOTT
WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT THE HELL, PEOPLE!
Urshifu exits the pool and approaches Dewott.
DEWOTT
THIS IS MADNESS! STUPID MADNESS! IT'S—
Urshifu silences Dewott by putting his hand over her mouth.
DEWOTT
(Muffled)
I can't believe this!
URSHIFU
What is it, Dewott? I don't like to see a guild member in pain.
Urshifu removes his hand from Dewott's mouth.
DEWOTT
I... I... What did you do to me?!
URSHIFU
I did nothing to you, Dewott. Braixen, do you know why she's so upset?
BRAIXEN
No... She, um... Just looked into the water and screamed.
URSHIFU
I see. Dewott, did something about your reflection... Scare you?
DEWOTT
This isn't how I look! I'm... I'm a human, not a blue cat!
URSHIFU
You are neither a human nor a blue cat, Dewott...
DEWOTT
And that's the other thing! You keep calling me "Do-what"! My name is Kayla, not "Do-what"!
Urshifu pauses, considering this.
URSHIFU
Kayla, you say?
DEWOTT
That's exactly what I said, dammit! And you—
URSHIFU
This is interesting. And it's only happened once before, too... Dewott, come with me into my office. Braixen... ask Chatot to show you around.
Urshifu walks into his office. Dewott reluctantly follows.
INT. URSHIFU'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS
Urshifu takes a seat at his wooden desk. On the desk is a journal, a pencil, and a book titled "Mythology: The Mysteries of Life". He motions for Dewott to sit down.
Cut to Dewott. She stands in front of the closed door, not sitting down.
URSHIFU
Dewott... or Kayla, rather... You can sit.
DEWOTT
I'm not gonna. I don't know why I'm here, I don't know where Sam is, and now I don't even know why I look like this!
URSHIFU
That's... Do as you wish. But you must listen to me.
DEWOTT
I don't wanna listen. I need to know why I'm a cat! You aren't even listening to me!
URSHIFU
Kayla, you aren't a cat... You're a Dewott.
DEWOTT
