INT. CAVE - ???
Kayla is lying on the ground with her eyes closed. Zoom in on her face. Suddenly, she opens her eyes and leaps to her feet. She turns around in slow circles with her scalchops drawn, ready for anything.
Fade to:
INT. DARKWOOD FOREST - DAY
Kayla and Braixen are back-to-back, moving in slow circles.
NINETALES (V.O.)
It's almost time...
Suddenly, a Mightyena leaps out from behind a bush tries to bite Kayla. Kayla steps back, and Braixen uses Flamethrower. Mightyena jumps up over the flames and lands in front of Braixen, and then bites her. Braixen falls to the ground. Kayla swings one of her scalchops at Mightyena, but it suddenly uses Quick Attack and Kayla is knocked unconscious.
Zoom in on Kayla's face.
NINETALES (V.O.)
...for the nightmares to begin.
EXT. SNOWBELLE VILLAGE - MORNING
Many Pokemon are running through the village, screaming. They seem to be running away from something. A Flygon hides behind a tall hedge and gestures for her little Trapinch to follow her. Trapinch tries to hide with his mother, but he is suddenly hit by a giant beam of ice and is blown away.
FLYGON
Trapinch!
Flygon peeks out from behind the hedge and looks up to see what's attacking the village:
Numerous Cryogonal and Gyarados are flying about, shooting beams of ice and energy at Pokemon who were too slow to get away. Behind them stands their leader...
Zoom in on White Kyurem.
NINETALES (V.O.)
Nobody wished this upon us...
Flygon starts flying over the hedge, but a Roserade grabs her hand and stops her.
ROSERADE
Don't. You know that you'll be killed.
FLYGON
I need to save my baby!
ROSERADE
You need to escape.
FLYGON
If I don't save him, he'll be--
ROSERADE
Killed. He probably already was.
FLYGON
No...
ROSERADE
I'm sorry.
FLYGON
No!
Flygon flies over the hedge. Roserade frowns and runs off in the opposite direction.
NINETALES (V.O.)
However, the forces of evil don't wait to be told what to do.
INT. DARKWOOD FOREST - DAY
Braixen is losing the battle against Mightyena. She keeps trying to use Shadow Ball and Flamethrower, but they always miss.
Zoom in on Kayla's face once again.
INT. PITCH-BLACK VOID - ???
NINETALES (V.O.)
They just take, and take, and take...
Kayla stands up. She's in some sort of empty, pitch-black void. She looks around, but doesn't see anything. Until she becomes fixated on something in front of her.
Pan over to see what appears to be the entirety of Earth, floating in front of Kayla. The whole planet seems to be on fire.
NINETALES (V.O.)
(Echoing)
Take, and take, and take, and take...
DEWOTT
(Whispering)
What the hell's happening?
INT. NINETALES'S CABIN - DAY
Roserade is rocking back and forth on a chair across from Ninetales, who is sitting on a couch.
ROSERADE
The world might be coming to an end.
??? (V.O.)
(Echoing)
I claim the life... I claim the life of...
INT. PITCH-BLACK VOID - ???
Frozen in fear, Kayla watches the Earth burn.
