EXT. NINETALES'S HOUSE
DEWOTT
SNOWFLAAAAAAAAAAAKE!
There's no response. Sunbeam and Snowflake are nowhere to be seen. Braixen and Ninetales dash out the door.
NINETALES
Are they here?
DEWOTT
Doesn't look like it...
NINETALES
We need to go find them, then.
BRAIXEN
Ninetales is right. Let's go. Split up, and call out once you find them.
DEWOTT
(Nods)
Will do.
Kayla, Braixen, and Ninetales all run off in separate directions.
Kayla starts running up the hill that she and Braixen came from. She shields her eyes from the snowstorm.
DEWOTT
I... can't... see...
Kayla tries to run even faster, but she slips and falls forwards. She then starts sliding down the hill, and ends up face-first in the snow at the bottom.
KAYLA'S POV: Kayla can see nothing but snow. She lifts her head up and looks around... and it's sunny.
DEWOTT
Huh?
INT. THE FOREST - SAME
Ninetales is running through the snowy forest.
NINETALES
(Yelling)
Sunbeam! Snowflake! Come to your mum, Sunbeam!
A rustling noise is heard and Ninetales skids to a stop. She looks in the direction that the noise came from, and she sees a Froslass about thirty feet away.
NINETALES (V.O.)
(Thinking)
Perhaps she knows where they are!
Ninetales is about to start running towards Froslass, but suddenly the snowstorm returns and obstructs her vision.
EXT. ANOTHER PART OF THE FOREST - SAME
Braixen is walking up a tree-covered hill, tired. The snowstorm suddenly subsides.
BRAIXEN
What's with this weather...?
Braixen keeps walking and notices that the hill is getting much, much steeper. She takes out her stick, stabs it into the slope in front of her, and begins using to help her climb.
BRAIXEN (V.O.)
(Thinking)
This Ice Stone is weighing my tail down so much...
(A beat.)
I can't leave it, can I?
(A beat.)
No. I need to keep it with me as I climb!
Suddenly, the snowstorm starts again and Braixen is thrown off-balance. White snow covers the entire screen.
EXT. BLIZZARD HILLS - CONTINUOUS
Fade in from white.
Kayla reaches the top of the small hill, exhausted. She looks around, and the Vulpixes are still nowhere to be seen. An Aegislash approaches her.
