Medicham paces in circles around the main square, anxiously awaiting the group's return.

Upon hearing Dewott's voice, Medicham turns around to see Kayla, Braixen, Treecko, Lucario, Exploud, and Meditite.
MEDICHAM
(Running towards them)

Meditite giggles and leaps into his mother's arms. They hug.
MEDICHAM
Oh, my precious baby...
(To Exploud)
How did you manage to free him?
EXPLOUD
WELL, MA'AM, IT WASN'T EASY. WE NEEDED TO DISTRACT HAXORUS WHILE UNSCREWING YOUR SON'S CAGE. THAT LET US GRAB MEDITITE AND GO.
BRAIXEN
None of your attacks had any effect, right?
MEDICHAM
(gasps)
Yes, it was horrible! How did you slay the beast if he could never get hurt?
DEWOTT
Oh he could get hurt, alright.
MEDICHAM

It turns out Haxorus wasn't immune to all attacks. Braixen figured out that Haxorus was somehow taking damage like a ghost type, so Dark Pulse took care of him pretty easily.
Grateful, Medicham approaches Braixen and shakes her hand.
MEDICHAM

BRAIXEN

Braixen blushes.
DEWOTT

DEWOTT

MEDICHAM

Meditite climbs atop Medicham's head and giggles.
MEDICHAM

(To Meditite)

BRAIXEN

EXPLOUD
