Braixen and Kayla are sleeping peacefully on their beds in the dim light. Exploud rushes in.

Braixen opens her eyes and yawns.
BRAIXEN
Ugh... Good morning, Kayla...
As Braixen stands up and stretches, Kayla opens her eyes.
DEWOTT
(Half-asleep)
You go on without me... I just need a few more hours of sleep...
BRAIXEN
Kayla!
Braixen grabs Kayla by the arm and begins dragging her out the door.
BRAIXEN
(Struggling)
You're pretty heavy, you know... You should really go easy on the apple pie!
DEWOTT
I should really go back to sleep...
INT. URSHIFU'S GUILD - MOMENTS LATER
All of the Guild members stand in an orderly fashion facing Urshifu.

Everyone cheerfully disperses except Kayla and Braixen.

Pan over to see Urshifu approaching the two of them with his hands behind his back.

(Cheerfully)

BRAIXen
(Cheerfully)
Good morning to you too, Guildmaster!
DEWOTT
Uh-huh.
URSHIFU
So... It's occurred to me that the two of you haven't ever completed a quest from the quest board.
DEWOTT
Oh, come on! We saved a baby Meditite from a giant Haxorus! And you're saying we haven't achieved anything?!
URSHIFU
Kayla, listen! That's not what I was going to say!
DEWOTT

URSHIFU
As I was saying, it's great to go on spontaneous quests... But tell me: Have you received payment for any of them?
BRAIXeN
