INT. KAYLA AND BRAIXEN'S BEDROOM - MORNING
Kayla and Braixen are sound asleep in their beds. Exploud rushes in.
EXPLOUD
ALRIGHT, UP AND AT 'EM!
Exploud leaves. Braixen sits up and yawns. She then looks at Kayla, who's sound asleep. Braixen gets an idea and quietly approaches Kayla...
BRAIXEN
(Faking urgency)
FIRE! FIRE! FIRE IN THE GUILD! FIRE! EVERYBODY EVACUATE!
Kayla suddenly opens her eyes and Braixen uses Flamethrower right in front of her face. This scares Kayla, so she stands up and backs away. Realizing Braixen was joking, she sighs and starts to exit.
DEWOTT
Don't be an idiot.
BRAIXEN
Sorry...
INT. URSHIFU'S GUILD - CONTINUOUS
Braixen and Kayla exit their bedroom and look around. Unlike usual, everybody is minding their own business instead of lining up for chant.
DEWOTT
No chant! Woohoo!
Braixen rolls her eyes and walks up to Chatot.
BRAIXEN
Chatot, is there no chant today?
CHATOT
No, ma'am. Not today. A new recruit for the guild came in just a few minutes ago so Urshifu is busy. As I always say, a chant without everyone here is the same as no chant at all.
BRAIXEN
Ah. So should Kayla and I go on another quest?
CHATOT
I don't see why not!
BRAIXEN
Great. Thanks. Kayla, c'mon!
The two of them approach the quest board and start searching for the ideal quest.
DEWOTT
No babysitting jobs, got it?
BRAIXEN
Got it.
They continue to analyze the board. Pan over to the waterfall in the corner of the room. Suddenly, something-- or someone, rather-- falls down the waterfall into the pool. She then gets out, shivering. As she shakes herself dry, Urshifu also comes down the falls and gets out of the pool.
URSHIFU
So, Meowstic, what do you think?
MEOWSTIC
I... W-well, it doesn't seem so bad...
URSHIFU
That's the spirit! And by the way, you have a rather impressive look with that yellow fur and all.
MEOWSTIC
I-I guess...
The shiny Meowstic looks around nervously.
MEOWSTIC
W-what am I supposed to... do?
URSHIFU
