Lee
Zola and I have been dating for a month now.
I won't even lie, I didn't expect to be as happy as I am. There's something so addictive about Zola and her presence, it's like sadness or any other negative emotion is forbidden around her.
And I don't mind that.
I feel like I learn something new about her every single day, and with that, I gain another reason to fall even harder for her.
It's scary, but I like it.
Zola's laying on my chest with her laptop between her legs watching Bad Girls club fights. For someone who's extremely unconfrontational, these fights give her hella joy.
"Look at Mehgan, she could take anyone out." I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
"She sneaked them, that don't count, mama."
"What? She's still getting swung on by at least three people, it counts."
I shook my head, preparing my argument, but I was silenced once my phone began to ding.
bent 🤝:
yo, cullen wants to meet up w/ u
I shifted under Zola and sat up a bit, I can feel the anger and hatred boiling within me. That slimy bitch wants to meet up with who? Nah, not me.
rhett ⚡️:
before you say no, we'll all be there for support bro
vaughn 👨🏻🦳:
we're not saying you have to forgive him either
elon 😈:
We all got you, Lee just show up.
"Hey, baby, what's wrong?" Zola's video was now paused, I didn't even notice.
She straddled me with her hands on my cheeks, gently messaging each area she skimmed past.
"The boys, Cullen wants to meet up. I'm not doin' it."
"Why not?" I looked at Zola and squinted.
"After what he tried to do? No, I'm not playing that."
"I'm not telling you to excuse him, you don't even have to continue listening if you're not comfortable. However, you shouldn't hold on to such an intense hatred for someone, keeping somebody in your head like that takes a toll on you," she gently played with my chin as her eyes drifted away, "I'd know."
I sighed and rested my forehead on her shoulder.
She's right.
If Zola is open to it, it can't be that bad of an idea.
what time and where?
I sat at the old park with Bentley, Rhett, Elon, and Vaughn.
For whatever reason, this is where Cullen wanted to meet. I idly sat on a swing, texting Zola to calm my nerves.
"Remember, Lee, try not to give him the two-piece before he says anything." I looked up and saw Cullen stepping out of his Kia.
The anger I felt from the sight of his face threatened to spill, but I didn't let it. I steadied my breathing and calmly watched him stride towards us.
For a second, we just stood there staring at each other. The fact that he had the nerve to call us and just stand there pissed me off.
"You gone sit there and look at us like a dumbass or-"
