Aura Of Anguish.

Night had fallen. It was now or never. Venus tip toed stealthily out of her cabin and slid around the back of it. Behind her home was were her and her father kept their horses. She smiled at the sight of Onyx. She had named her horse that due to his glossy black fur. His muscles rippled from under his freshly groomed pelt and his powerful legs. Venus edged over to him slowly, she didn't wan tv to spook him and cause a scene. She ran the palm of her hand down his thick nose and he nestled into it. She grabbed the leather reins that were laced around his body and began to pull him in the direction of the hut that Finn was being kept in.

Venus had used her splendid eavesdropping skills to listen in on Anya's conversation with Finns guard. She explained that they were taking Clarke with them, in case any of their soldiers got hurt along the way and he had instructions to kill Finn at nightfall. Venus tethered Onyx to the back of the cabin, ready for a quick escape, before heading in.

There were two guards outside the door. Venus was unable to see who they were due to their masks. This eased her conscience slightly as it meant that she didn't know who she was killing and wouldn't have to witness their pained faces. Venus drew her sword from the holster on her hip and charged at the guards. Before they even had time to process what she was doing, she had sliced the taller ones throat in one swift movement, rendering him lifeless. The second one had managed to grasp his weapon but before he had time to draw it, Venus spun around and sliced off his hand. He let out an agonised yelp as he looked at the stub where his hand used to be. Venus showed no mercy. She kicked him in the stomach, causing him to stumble to the ground before plunging her sword into his heart.

She booted open the door and found Finn sitting in the corner of the small cell-like room. His eyes widened as he saw Venus but she couldn't figure out weather it was because of fear, gratitude or surprise. She hurried over to him and cut his restraints, liberating him. Finn shakily rose to his feet as he continued to stare at Venus, trying to process what was going on. She poked her head out of the doorway, checking that it was all clear before gesturing to Finn to follow. However he just stayed glued to his spot. "What the hell are you doing? We need to get out of here." She stated sternly as she began to drag the bodies of the two guards into the room. "Here, put these on." She said, handing Finn the mask and cloak the belonged to one of the deceased grounders. Finn hesitantly did as he was told. "Ok. Come on." She said as she ushered him out of the door.

"Venus, what's going on? Where Clarke?" He whispered as the pair crept out of the cabin.

"Lincoln's getting her, she'll be fine." Finn was wearing an unconvinced and apprehensive expression. "Don't worry.You'll see her soon, Finn. I promise." She said reassuringly. He just nodded and continued to follow her. They reached the exit and scurried around to the back of the cabin where they found Onyx. "Okay, get on." Venus instructed as she gestured to her horse. Finn looked puzzled as to how to approach mounting the horse. It was clearly something he'd never done before. He sloppily pulled his body onto the horse and clutched the reins tightly. They hadn't even started moving yet and he already looked terrified. Venus couldn't help but let out a small giggle. Finn shot her a scowl for mocking him.

Just as Venus was about to clamber onto her horse, she heard a familiar sounding voice. "Venus! There you are." Stellan chirped as he ran over to her. Finn pulled down his mask at the sound of an unrecognised voice. Venus turned and gave Stellan her best fake smile. "I've been looking for you all day. Danson told me you were back." He said cheerily as he pulled her into a tight embrace. Venus let herself enjoy the warmth of her best friend for a second before quickly turning back to the matter at hand.

"Hey, I've missed you too. But noes not the time. I need to get out of here." She said sternly as she pulled herself onto Onyx's back.

"Who's this and where are you going?" Stellan asked suspiciously as he tried to get a better look at Finn. He just kept his head down.
