The Completed puzzle part two

Chp. 10

I closed my eyes and I felt free. But something was still weighing me down. Jack helped me through a dark moment and I still didn't even try to consult him. He helped me and I want to help him, I want to be there for him. All I've done is cause worry and I don't want to be his cause of distress anymore. I don't wanna be useless, I don't know if this is gonna help. It's not gonna help. I started to get anxious and started to hyperventilate.

"Jack!" I yelled, falling fast a foot away from the cliff.

I started to tear, I shouldn't have. I threw it away, I'm gonna... I'm gonna. No one gets a second chance and I just threw it away. I couldn't, I felt something. Jack grabbed onto my arm and was looking at me, tears falling.

"I get it, this world sucks," Jack stared at me slowly pulling me up.

"I hate it so much, but if I can't leave you can't either," Jack was crying.

"I don't care if that's selfish, but we can hate it together," Jack crying gave me a smile.

Jack finished pulling me up and I hugged him so hard. We sat there hugging each other, sobbing. I have didn't words, I just hugged him and cried, hoping he would forgive me. After what felt like hours we stopped crying and started to talk.

"Ethan, I-I love you. I couldn't take it if you were to suddenly disappear," he looked at me and started tearing up again.

"Your different, you listen. You don't just pity me," I was speechless.

"I love you too," I managed a grin wall while we cried in unison.

We looked at each other with the sunset highlighting us. I leaned closer and felt a sudden pulse. I couldn't move and fell to the dirt. Before I knew it, all I could hear were the fading sounds of Jack yelling my name.

Note; Its the end to part one so it's short. But really wanted to leave a cliffhanger last time.  Also, I was never one to believe in happy endings...
