Final Confrontation

Chp. 16

Jack covered his mouth and shook his head in disbelief. Legoshi stepped towards Jack, I knew he wanted to help but it isn't his battle. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him. Jack was sobbing at this point and legoshi had rested his hand on his shoulder.

"It's going to be ok," I kept my voice cheerful.

"Your father, loves you very much and we're here for you," Jack looked up and leaned into me.

I hugged him tighter and smiled. Things could be better, things will be better. After we talk to him, things will get better.

"Hey, legoshi, I think we can handle it from here," we looked at legoshi in unison, grasping onto each other.

"Ok, I know you can do it," he smiled before jogging away.

I don't know what's gonna happen after this but the drama is going to end. One way, or another.

We slowly made our way to Jack's home, dreadfully thinking of what lies ahead. At least Jack would be ok, but my future still was uncertain. Soon we reached the house, we carefully walked up the driveway. Staying quiet and peaking at each window. Jack walked ahead of me and opened the door.

"Whatever happens, we'll do it together," I held his hand as we stepped through the entrance and walked in.

Jack's dad wasn't anywhere to be seen, he was probably in his office. I wasn't looking forward to this, but I can't imagine what his mind was going through. This is his dad after all. We were halfway down the dark hall as Mr. C came out of his office and approached us. His expression was the same, sympathetic and sad. But he was genuine, he wasn't going to lie. I knew he wouldn't after everything that had happened. I have a good feeling, like the one you get once a good movie is about to end. I think, what we do in this conversation will affect everything.

"Son, I," he reached out but stopped midway.

"Dad, now you know. I'm gay," he looked into his father's eyes, Jack loved his father very much.

"But this could just be a phase, right? Think about it, how long have you been thinking that your gay," he was trying to take control of the situation.

I opened my mouth, I wanted to defend Jack. But Jack walked forward and started to yell.

"I've known that I felt this way since the seventh grade!" Jack was frustrated, he was hurting bad.

I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder, I smiled at him before looking up and his dad.

"Your sexuality isn't something you can change, you feel the way you feel," I tried to comfort him, he obviously wanted to avoid the truth.

"But son... Wouldn't the public not like you? Wouldn't you rather live a normal life?" Jack's dad was still trying to pursue the argument.

"I don't care! I don't care if the public doesn't like me! I don't want to hide the way I feel, towards Ethan or someone else," Jack yelled, he didn't want to hear his dad's homophobic excuses anymore.

Jack's dad tried to say something, he tried uttering out words like but or what if. However, he couldn't say anything. He was beaten, he was speechless. He fell to his knees and started to tear. 

"Dad, I'm still gonna love you. And if I ever adopt a child your still gonna be a grandpa," Jack walked over and hugged his dad.

I'm glad that their relationship will survive this disaster. After everything that had happened the last thing I would want to cause was a ruined relationship. Soon, Jack's dad got up and invited me over to him.

"I'm... I will support your relationship," he spoke sincerely and tried to compose himself before leaving to return into his office.

We both watched Mr. C walk into the office and once the door was sealed shut we turned to look at one another. First Jack smiled and followed. We started to giggle and hug. Things were going to get better! The bad has come and left. We are stronger than ever! We released each other and Jack took me for a kiss. We released (sometime later) and got up. We walked outside and watched the sunset. My story, our story, from the good, comes bad and from the bad comes good.

Note: OMG, I did it! Thank you for all the support I appreciate it so much! Also, although the main story of these two is done I do plan to create a five-part special with the canine group. I had originally planned over thirty chapters but ended up compressing a few of them. Part of them was scrapped (school). I really enjoyed writing this and do plan to take a break before writing the special. In the meantime, I will either write a pina x male reader or a fnaf love triangle.
