Authors note: Hey, been a while. Why? Lack of inspiration, I can't force myself to write. But I can sure trick myself into loving Jack! So I was able to finish this chapter! Slowly... anyway the next chapter will arrive! Eventually 

Important note: BTW I left foreshadowing in the comments in a reply to someone I think. For how this story will end. Anyway, enjoy it! BTW it doesn't give anything big away its just a small reminder. Also, it's kinda hard to get but try to find it.

Part 2.

Chapter 4.

Legoshi's POV

"Got it, well, see you later," I hang up.

Well, I don't mind if they come with us. I always enjoy Jack's company, this might a good opportunity anyways. Gramps always told me stories of how his two best friends never got along, ending with having to sever ties with one of them. Now could be the only chance I get to have my best friends to get to know each other. I can ask Jack and Lois if they'll travel in Louis's car and I guess me and... Ethan, that's his name, we'll travel behind them. I might be able to offer him some advice, I mean its a lifestyle change. Well, I'll worry about the preparations tomorrow, for now, I'm going to head to bed.

The next morning...

Ok, everything's in my bag. I'm in the meeting spot and now just waiting for the others. What was the meeting time again at 8:30... Crap. That was thirty minutes ago, I left my phone on silent mode. Let's check my messages...

"Leaving any time soon hon? Me jack left already, I left you a car. It's a red van, and by the way, don't think this will go unsees, we'll talk more tonight ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)," I sighed and slipped my phone Louis gave me into my pocket. I looked around for a red van and saw a familiar figure leaning on it. Ethan, he looked impatient he was crossing his arms and seemed worried.

"Hey Ethan," I said quietly I know I acted normal during our last encounter but jack was there.

This so awkward, I need to break the ice. Like I was thinking earlier I'll get to know Ethan and all four of us can live happy lives! Perfect what could go wrong.

"Hey, um- I didn't see you there," he was patting his foot while looking side to side.

"Really? Um- I'm the only one in this parking lot," what if Ethan doesn't like me, this could go bad for me and jack's friendship.

He looked shocked for a moment before resuming his collected face. He sighed and stood straight up.

"I hope you can drive, also I need to talk to you," he said composed with a straight face.

Jack didn't describe him like this, maybe its because we don't know each other. But if someone described him as Jack did I wouldn't have guessed this was him. He unlocked the car and tossed the keys to me, he opened the door and sat down. I sat down in my seat and started the car.

"We're on the road!" I tried to sound ecstatic.

We stayed silent for the first few minutes of the ride, he was just looking off into the distance. He was feeling his nails, his sharp jagged nails. If his story is really true it must be odd for him. He suddenly turned to me.

"You know my story, I don't know yours... at least fully, but you can learn a lot from a quick look. I need to confess something to you, something that I haven't thought about till recently. But is something that I need to him- Jack I mean. As a human in my life, I'm guilty of this world's ultimate taboo. Something that I'm sure you aware of," his voice drew quieter, his breath was soft.

The unknown lost in a world of animals, but he's crossed the line. Becoming an animal himself, his transformation must be linked to something. Perhaps this form is only a temporary one.

"Ethan, I-," I was lost for a moment, but I steady my voice and started speaking more direct.

"You chose that path, you had options. However, even if you lived in ignorance you still ate those animals their lives can't just be forgotten, and least that's what I think. Whether or not you can move on from the fact rests on you. Most of the carnivore population eats meat. So I'm not saying you're guilty but you did it," I kept driving, I looked forward and only forward.

"But, if that's true then I can't. I killed myself and I don't know if I can stop myself from doing it again," he chuckled.

"I'll die once again, this time Jack can't help me," He smiled dimly as I slowly pulled into the parking lot.
