Ch. 22

We are inside the game room playing billiards with Lisa. Seulgi and Ryujin went out to buy foods and drinks while Moonbyul is on her way here. It's been years since we did this. I'm glad we are all okay now, specially Lisa and Seulgi. I'm happy but not satisfied, you know Lisa is not that happy like she was before. This is the perfect timing to talk to her.

"Isn't it hard?" I asked. She looked at me in confusion.

"What hard Soo?"

"Is it hard to pretend you don't love someone but you really do?" I frankly asked her.

"For the hundredth time, I don't love her" She denied. Aish!

"Yeah keep lying to yourself Lisa. We parted ways before but doesn't mean I don't know you anymore, I know you too well Lisa. If you love her, then go for it." I said.

"It's not that easy"

"Coz you're making it hard for you. You're being hard to yourself, you're controlling yourself for being happy because you're considering others' feelings. But what about yours?"

"She's our sister Soo. Whar matters here is all your happiness not mine. And you see, we are okay now Soo. That's why I came her and you know that"

"Lisa can you hear yourself? I'm thankful because I have a sister like you but I'm not thankful because of what you are doing. Because I want you to be happy. And exactly, she's your sister she needs to understand, maybe not now but soon. It's obvious that Irene is not happy around Seulgi she's just pretending that she's happy just like you"

"How could you say that?"

"Because I was there when she confessed her feelings to you and eyes don't lie. You see, you always lying to me about your feelings for Irene but I know what's the truth, your lies means nothing. And remember I'm your sister"

"Soo i don't know what to do"

"You knew, you're just afraid to do it because you don't want to hurt other people. But for once, put yourself first. Coz at the end of the day, who will save you? Lisa, no one. You only have yourself. You can count on me and our sisters but help yourself too. You keep on saving other people but no one is coming to save you. Get your shit together Lisa, I want to see the real Lisa who's not afraid of anybody. I want to see the brave Lisa. Come on dude, you're better than this. Atleast fight for the person you love, for once. We got you, we will support you Lisa"

"Lisa, listen to me. I love you and Seulgi, and I don't want you guys to fight again. But I want to see you happy because you're sacrificing everything for her. Your own happiness. You don't own our happiness. Ain't nobody stopping you for choosing what's the best for you, ain't nobody stopping you for loving her. Lisa we appreciate what you did for us, but please for once choose yourself. Choose what makes you happy. Not everybody deserves your kindness, we don't deserve Lisa in our lives because she's too much for us...You already did everything for us, you suffered a lot, so enough of that Lis.....Lis, my bro, life is too short...live your life to the fullest" I patted her shouled. Her expression become emotional I don't know why.

"Soo, what if you know you are dying....are you still going to pursue the girl in your dreams?" She weirdly asked.

"Why are you asking that?" Duh she asked it out of nowhere.

"Just answer it" She demand. Well, I was thing of Chaeng.

"I don't know why you asked that but to answer your question, yes. I still want to pursue the girl in my dreams. Yeah it's selfish but when you knew you only have days, months, years left I will pursue her. If that's the only thing that I can make myself happy then Imma do it"
