Ch. 31

Jisoo's POV

I can't get enough sleep at the thought of Lisa having a cancer. I still can't believe what she just said 3days ago. It's giving me anxiety. I don't know what will my siblings react about this and our girlfriends specially Irene. Having a girlfriend who's dealing with cancer is not easy, even though I haven't experienced it and I don't want to. My girlfriend will be mad at me for not telling her about Lisa's cancer, of course she's her bestfriend but as Irene I hope she will understand the situation. Chae's voice snapped me out from my own thoughts

"You look bothered. Are you okay?" She asked kissing my cheeks. Chae knows me so well.

"No, no, no. I'm good" I smile to assured her.

"Are you sure?" She asked me softly

"Of course. Let's go down?" I asked changing the topic. She just nodded. We will go on our separate dates today, I want to enjoy this day so I hope I can forget about Lisa's situation for awhile.

We went down and Seulgi and Ryujin are bickering with each other. What's new? Then Irene is sitting on Lisa's lap facing each other. I smiled looking how happy they are.

"They look really cute together" Rosé blurted out

"They are" I added

"Yo yo yo! This is not a fucking motel!" Here comes the hater again. Lisa groans as Irene stood up

"You're too loud" She said glaring at Seulgi. Then she averted her gaze on me "I'll go out with my chipmunk tomorrow" She asked wiggling her brows on Rosé

"Wae?" I asked.

"Can't I go out with her?" She asked rolling her eyes. Rosé chuckled

"Why did you even asked?" I sarcastically asked

"Did I? As I remember I told you I'm going out with her"

"Okay stop" Rosé said laughing "I'm going out with her tomorrow Chu"

"Great" I playfully rolled my eyes. Lisa put her arm around Chae's neck

"She loves me more Soo. Pack it up" She teased and kissed Chae's cheeks. My eyes widened

"Yah yah yah! That's too much!" I pushed her. "Irene ah you're okay with that?! Gosh!" Irene just laughed

"Let's be honest Chu, they love each other more than they love us" She giggles. Lisa whispered something to her, probably telling her she loves her more.

"Whatever. Let's go"

Lisa's POV

I'm going out with Chae tomorrow, of course I informed Joohyun about this. I just miss hanging out with her specially hanging out here in our hometown. Chae is such a big help when I was having a hard time about my cancer, yeah she doesn't have any idea about this but she was always there to make me forget it for a while. I'm really greatful to have Chimpunk in my life.

And today, I will tour Joohyun here around colorado then next week we will go to new your as she requested. I've been there with Chaeng before so I'll be my girlfriend's tour guide.

"Where do you want to go first?" I asked, she slapped my arm

"Why are you asking me? I've never been in this place before" She rolled her eyes playfully, causing me to laugh

"My bad Hyun" I check the time "Oh it's almost 11, I think we should eat first. Brunch?"

"Perfect. I'm starving" She pouted holding her tummy. I giggled and pinched her cheeks

"Alright alright. Root down is the nearest restaurant here and their food is the best. You'll love it" I winked as we reached the passenger side of my car and held the door to open it for her.

"I know you have taste, I trust you" She grins, I jogged to driver's seat.

"So want's your plans for tomorrow?" Joohyun suddenly asks.

"We'll go to utah as usaul" I answered not looking at her cuz I'm driving lol.

"You were ditching just to travel all the way to Utah for 6 hours. Yeah nice" She said sarcastically. "Such a bad girl" I chuckled

"Yah I'm not. We were..." She cuts me off

"Enjoying. Yeah" I can sense she was rolling her eyes.

"Exactly" I chuckled. "Do you want to come with us tomorrow?" I asked softly as I held her right hand.

"Lili, it's your date okay? Besides the others will stay home tomorrow. So you don't have to worry" She kissed my cheeks to assure me

"Alright alright. I promise when we get back I'll make it up to you"

"You really don't have to, just enjoy and be safe okay?" She asks me sweetly

"But I want to. I will, for you" I kiss her hand. "We're here baby" I didn't let Joohyun open the door for herself

"Such a gentlewoman" She said as we both giggles. We walked hand in hand to the resto.

"Do you want iced coffee?" I asked looking at the menu

"Yes please" She annswered. Then I gave my order to the waiter who's been eyeing my girlfriend. Tsk.

Joohyun and I had a lovely brunch. We took 2 hours in here talking a lot of things. I'll miss her, I will miss this moment. Somehow I'm not really sure if I can make it, but I want to live for her. I can't watch Joohyun crying out for help, crying out missing me. I can't, it breaks me just thinking about that moment.

We have a lot of plans together, I have a lot plans for her, for our relationship. We're still young, there's so much we haven't done. But I want to face the reality, it's sad but true. I don't know if I can make it, but I will make sure to make Joohyun happy, until my last breath. Her voice snapped me out of my own thoughts

"You're smiling but your eyes are lying" I love the fact that Joohyun knows me so well but I hate it now. "What's bothering you?" We're inside the car. I extended my arms

"Come here, hug me" I demand. Hyun didn't think twice to hug me. "I love you Hyun, SO MUCH baby" I hug her tightly.

"I love you too baby. But how can I make my baby happy?" She asks softly, I pulled away and held her face

"Just stay with me through thick and thin" I smile sadly. Knowing Joohyun she won't ask such things when I don't want to talk about it yet.

"Of course baby" She lean closer to kiss my forehead as I closed my eyes "I will stay no matter what" I'll keep your words Hyun, I trust you. "Don't be sad okay? Let's continue our date" She wiggles her brows making me chuckles. Joohyun knows how to change the mood.

"Let's go" I said happily. "Turn on the music baby" I starts the engine.
