Ch. 40

Yeji's POV

Yesterday Lisa and Chaeng unnie leave the country, but it felt like a year. Everything is different. As usual we're are all here in their mansion but you can feel the different atmosphere. Ryujin is mad at me, like real mad. Jisoo is nowhere to be found. While my sister, she's in Lisa's room. She went straight there as we got in here.

"What do you think you were doing yesterday?" Ryujin agressively asked "Don't tell me you chose that cheater over your sister?"

"Jin" Seulgi hissed

"What? Did I say something wrong?" Her crude sarcasm sickened me. Then she turned again on me "What was that?" She shouted. I sighs and stood up.

"Why are you so mad?" I asked on an exhale. Ryujin scoffed

"You're really asking me that? Do you still believe that my sister is a saint? She cheated, wasn't it a proof that she's not? She fooled everyone Yeji for fuck's sake. She betrayed her own sister! Do you get me?!" She shouted. I get it, I know she's mad because Lisa unnie is the person who she look up to. She admire her so much. Ryujin is hurt because of the thought Lisa having an affair with Chaeng which is not true. Her own thoughts destroying her, them.

"Jin, calm down" This time it's Moonbyul who stepped between us

"No, it's okay unnie" I fake a smile. She raised her hands in surrender. "Ryujin, Lisa unnie cheated or not it doesn't concern us. Yes she's my sister's girlfriend but she's also my friend who needs my help. What about you, who is she to you? Do you really know your sister?" I snapped. Then I shifted my eyes on Seulgi "Seul? Byul? Do you?" They both looked away

"Clearly you don't. They say, it's easy to judge, it's more difficult to understand. That's damn right, because that's exactly what you did to her. But let's say she really cheated, does she really deserved that? You let Jisoo beat the hell out of her, because you all felt betrayed?" My vision blurred as years filled my eyes. I can still see Lisa unnie's face yesterday when she was lying on the floor getting beat up by her own sister.

"I thought she can count on you Jin, but I guess at the end of the day...She got nothing...but Chaeyoung" I wiped my tears away "I hope you won't regret what you did that day" I grabbed my bag and turned to Ryujin "I warned you before about this, but you didn't listen" Then I left them dumbfounded

Ryujin's POV

As Yeji left, I kicked the chair. I can't believe she's siding Lisa after what she did to her sister. I don't get her.

"We fucked up" Moonbyul blurted out

"Did we? Isn't it Lisa?" I mocked. Seulgi glances at Moonbyul before talking

"We fucked up. And Yeji was right, we let Jisoo beat her up...at the end of the day Lisa is our sister too. Maybe Lisa cheated but does she deserved that Jin?" I lowered my head as I realized what we did to her. "Isn't she your favorite? You have all the rights to ask her what's really happening, you're more closed to her than any of us. The problem is we jumped into conclusion before knowing from what it is"

"No need to argue. Lisa and Chaeng cheated, they choose to leave together, it's over...end of the conversation" Jisoo unnie finally showed up. She looks so stressed, and haven't slept. Fuck them!

"I'm outta here" Seulgi shakes her head

"Why, feel guilty all of a sudden? Yes I hurt her physically but she hurt me emotionally. I wish by punching her I can make myself feel better...Do you know how I feel when Rosé was always talking about Lisa? Knowing that Rosé was in love with my sister? Or still is. Do you know that?" She wiped her own tears. You can see in her eyes she's really in pain.

"I'm sorry if I went too far yesterday...But I can't help it. The one who I always want to protect was got beaten...by me" She sobs pointing herself. "And the girl I love is in love with her...Do you know how fucking hard that is?" I walked closer to hug her.

"Shhh. I'm here" I whispered. The thing is, we all think that Jisoo unnie is strong. To the point we didn't even think she's also human, who have feeling too.

"Chu"

"No it's okay Byul" We just stayed here, no one dares to talk until

"Seul" Irene called upstairs. I lifted my head, Irene unnie holding a lot of cards? She rushed downstairs

"What are those?" Seul asked pointing those mini envelope.

"It's from Lisa, I saw it in her trash bin" Irene unnie distributed it one by one. "I guess she was about to give these to us before leaving" I turn my gaze on her, her eyes sore and tired. I squeeze her hand.

"Did you read yours?" I asked

"No. Let's read it later, call the girls" How am I suppose to call Yeji? Damn it!

"I'll do it" Moonbyul says. Oh thank God.

"Why we need to read it together?" Jisoo unnie asked rudely

"I want an answer"

"Irene don't make me laugh" I can feel the tension. Damn it this is all my fault

"Do I look like I'm joking?" She mocked

"Okay both of you, stop" Seulgi hissed "Jisoo, whether you like it or not, we'll read it together. Irene calm your ass down" Seulgi snatched Jisoo's letter and give it to Irene. "Why did you even gave it to us?" She jokes. Irene unnie just ignored her.

What are those letter for? I got curious all of a sudden but at the same time nervous. Irene unnie saw it in her trash bin, was she trying to give it to us before she left? Now, guilt eating away inside of me.

"I thought she can count on you Jin, but I guess at the end of the day...She got nothing...but Chaeyoung" Yeji's word pop up on my mind

"I hope you won't regret what you did that day"

"I warned you before about this, but you didn't listen"

FUCK! I let my emotions control me, now I really think I messed up. And I'm starting to regret everything. What the fuck did I do?
