So like about Deceit's name...(Sanders Sides)(small theory)

btw this isn't art, I'm still working on some sketches which I will post soon here and on DA

so anyway with the new Sanders Sides episode we now know that Deceit's name is Janus, which is kinda surprising cuz everyone was suspecting that his name will start with a D but hey I'm not complaining.

However this made my realize something, the possible name of the orange Dark Side. We all know that each Side has a signature color, so we all know that the next Dark Side will the orange since thats the only color not taken.

But thats not important, but what is important is that the Dark Sides' names are all related to ancient Rome. Remus and Janus are mythological characters, Remus being one of the founders of Rome along with Romulus and Janus being a purely roman god with two faces and is associated with stuff like beginnings, doorways, transitions, duality, and endings. Also I guess Thomas chose this name for Deceit partly because, ya know, he's 'two-faced'. Get it?

Anyway, the name Virgil is also related to Rome, but instead of being a mythological character, he was a roman poet who wrote the epic the "Aeneid". And yes, I know we have Roman, who's not a Dark Side, but his name isn't a name from ancient Rome, it is literally Roman. And plus he's literally Remus's brother so of course their names are gonna be similar.

Another important thing also is that in the myth, Remus was killed by Romulus during a fight over who will rule the newly established city of Rome, and Janus doesn't exactly have a greek counterpart. Idk why I think these facts are important just wanted to point them out in case its important to how the other Dark Sides were named and possibly help us whittle down all the possible names for the orange Dark Side to as much as possible.

So with this in mind, if my theory's correct, the orange Dark Side's name will most possibly be the name of a character or deity from Roman mythology or an important Roman figure, like a poet or emperor. I actually think the orange Dark Side might be named after an emperor, since we have Virgil, a poet, Remus, a (sort of)mortal from mythology, and Janus, a god.

So yeah that was my little theory, I really don't think this is in any way correct, I just like connecting dots of information. Anyway guys I really need to continue this sketch thank you and goodnight
