Also crack theories ahead, but I think Doodle is a manifestation of Spongebob's negetivity after Patrick's death in season 2(oh frick I just spoiled the manga ahhh sh*t-)
I mean, c'mon, he can't just be a simple living drawing since he's lasted so long. And plus it looks like he'll be the main antagonist of season 3. Right??

But seriously, I'm pretty sure I was trying to practice facial expressions and maybe also trying to make the body actually look 3 dimensional
