Now, you're probably wondering how I got into this mess... well..

Basically I decided to look at a list of Fanfic Tropes to get me familier with them, I ended up looking through the list in a site called Fanlore(the Wikipedia of fanculture). I got to Pon Farr... it looked interesting so I read it and it indeed was pretty interesting, even tho I haven't watched Star Trek. Then... Isolated/Trapped, Cave Story...

"The 'cave story' originated with Kirk/Spock in conjunction with the Pon Farr story, constituting fandom's oldest known plot device for getting the couple in question to get it on. In the cave story, Kirk and Spock are typically stranded on a remote planet and forced to seek shelter in a cave. Skip to me rushing to Ao3 to find a fic like this cuz I love smut. Well I couldn't find one based on the tags but I was lazy and did end up reading one... and oh boy it was... spicy to say the least. Skip to like a day or 2 later then I'm in Shipper'sGuideToTheGalaxy's channel to rewatch some vids and I find their Spirk / K/S best moments vid and... yeah... you can tell what happens from there

So yeah, pray to the shipping gods that I don't procrastinate for like 5 months and get on with watching the series already-
