Chapter 53

AN: Ok, first of all, I'm really sorry. You're not going to believe me but, I had so many online classes and so many homework that I didn't even have time to write a single word. I also had some problems with my account for like, two weeks and I also cried because I thought my books were lost and that I would not be able to continue writing. I also thought of making another account and continuing the book there.

But, fortunately, with some help, I was able to get my account back and I continued writing, maybe skipping some homework 😅......

Plus, I was also sick for some weeks because of the cold weather. But pls forgive me! I know I said I would update once a week but I don't think that it will be possible as I'm having exams in this period. Fortunately, after my exams, maybe next year, I'll be able to update weekly. And I hope you didn't get bored of the book....

So, here's an extra long chapter for you.

The Next Day

Alexander's POV

I settled on the bed just beside Grace and Sushi with a bowl of popcorn with caramel and the remote control of the TV. Grace held the bowl from my hands, beginning to eat some as I switched on the TV and we chose the movie. I kissed down her forehead and slung an arm around her shoulders, reaching my fingers out to scratch Sushi's little head. She purred, approaching her head to my hand more. Yes, Sushi, the kitten, was a female and I talked to Grace about getting it spayed later on but Grace was totally against that. She threw an enormous tantrum about what would the kitten feel when she would not get pregnant.

Grace slowly crawled into my lap, snuggling into my neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist. She pecked me onto my cheek and continued to watch the movie. "Water," Grace demanded, making me roll my eyes. Over the past few days, she had developed the habit of making me do the slightest task ever; feeding her, dressing her, brushing her hair, drying her hair, tucking her in bed, making her drink water or juice, and many things. I wasn't complaining because I liked to do these things but it........... was inappropriate for a vampire to do that for a human.

Still, nothing stopped my hand when I reached my hand to take hold of the glass of water that was on the nightstand. "Is your tummy still paining?" I asked her and she nodded with a little pout on her bottom lip. I opened the drawer, taking out her pill and popped it into her opened mouth that was waiting. Then, I made her drink the water. Content, she took the last gulp of water and I placed the glass away. I actually compromised with my work to watch this movie with her as she was whining about how I was working too much and not paying attention to her.

Ohh God, her on her period was much more difficult than I thought...... She annoyed me but just because she wanted my attention. This morning, she was pouting because we ran out of cinnamon rolls and didn't talk to me till I went and bought some for her. She really liked to eat and still was thin but gained a bit of weight, which was good but not for her teeth. Apart from that, during these weeks, we came closer. She now liked it when I would touch her and would also tease me but she didn't really want me to touch her while on her period. She thought something bad would happen.

So, to pass the time everyday, she would propose to watch a movie. It was currently about time for lunch and we usually had 'movie time' at night but she wanted to watch one now. I can't really say no because she would literally burn everything from anger. She was a dangerous woman, my dangerous and mad panther. With that thought, I leaned in and kissed her neck, making her giggle from the touch. I smirked, leaving little feathery kisses along her neck and shoulders. Her upper half was naked because she was apparently feeling hot.
