^^^ going to have to play multiple times
The beach was about 25-30 minutes away. I had brought a surf board and it was laid across Colby and I's lap. Colby was leaning on it while he was driving and so was I.
"Why couldn't we just put the surf board with Tara and Jake?" Colby asked. I shrugged. I then lifted up my end of the surf board, meaning for Colby to take his arm off of it. He removed his arm and I shoved it behind me. Tara screeched as it hit her face.
"Sorry." I laughed. Jake took the board and put it behind his head as a head rest. Tara also leaned on it.
"Av, remember when we went to that party in like August?" Jake asked.
"And then there was vomit on the ceiling and you lit the TV on fire? Yeah." I said.
"What?" Colby asked laughing.
"I didn't tell you?" Jake asked. Colby shook his head. "Okay well I was in Maryland with Reggie, Tara, and Ava. We decided to go to this birthday party that a fan DMed all of us about once she saw we were in Maryland. She wanted to surprise her friend who was a big fan."
"So we go to the party, classic high school party. We saw the girl that DMed us and we surprised the birthday girl. She was happy, whatever, ya know. Then Jake and I got drunk and so was everyone else except Reggie and Tara. Jake was so drunk, he wanted to roast marshmallows and lit the TV on fire. Then we went to throw up, but found vomit on the ceiling, so Reggie drove us home after that. Turns out the cops came right after we left." Colby had a confused look on his face.

We soon pulled into the parking lot.
"Everyone out." Colby yelled.

Tara and I sat down at the tiki bar near the beach.
"So, how is it with you and Colby?" Tara giggled.
"Fine, I guess." I answered. "He's just a friend. I don't know if he wants a relationship."
"He's been waiting for the perfect person. You're the perfect person!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah ok." I replied and rolled my eyes. "I'm definitely not perfect."
"You are perfect and you're perfect for him!" She squealed.
"No I'm not. I'm kinda the complete opposite of him." I sighed. "Also, I live across the country! I can't do long-distance relationships. We both have social media lives too. And what if we break up? It'll ruin the friendship between us."
"Stop being such a Negative Nelly." Tara laughed. "You should move out here! I would be able to see you more often. You would be able to see Sam, Colby, Corey, Jake, and Reggie your 'favorite'." I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know because I have a lot of things I would leave behind in Maryland." I said.
"You can always visit." Tara suggested. "Also, you would be able to work on social media, I mean you do have 4 million followers on Insta and like 9 million on Tik Tok." She was kind of right. Working on my social media could be an option but I'm not sure.
