The noise woke up Skylar and she rushed in to check on him, and is now cleaning up the mess. "I know, honey," Skylar replies as she finishes cleaning. "Try to get some more sleep, okay?" "Can you tell me another story before I go back to sleep? I wanna hear 'bout the magic hero again, mommy," he requests, giving a little pout. "Again? That's been the go-to since Saturday," Skylar remarks, giving Ryan a curious look. "You sure like the magic hero." "He's cool," Ryan mumbles with a shrug, a yawn escaping him after he finishes speaking. "I wanna see him again and ask him a buncha questions and see magic tricks." "Well, right now we'll stick to the stories," Skylar decides, "I don't think the hero is ready to show us magic in person yet bud." "D'you think he'll ever show us? If we get to see him again," Ryan is clearly hopeful that they'll be encountering the supposedly magical blue haired man. "I don't know that we will be seeing him again, Ry," Skylar tells him hesitantly. "I'm gonna go wash my hands and then I'll tell you a story." "About the magic man?" "Yes, Ry, about the magic man." Skylar makes quick work of washing her hands in the apartment's one bathroom before returning to the one bedroom, which she let Ryan have. She sleeps on the couch and Ryan has a bed in the room. It's a small space but it works for them.
