░▒▓█▓▒░ Upon arriving in New York, Awsten realizes his mistake in this poorly planned drive. He doesn't know where the drive actually ends. He never got Skylar's address. Still ignoring the hundreds of texts, voicemails, and missed calls from his friends and family, he calls Skylar and quickly gets her address before putting it into Google Maps and making his way there. It takes a while thanks to city traffic but he makes it there and doesn't give himself time to second guess anything, heading right up to Skylar and Ryan's apartment. He knocks on the door, his hand shaking slightly as he does so. A billion thoughts race through his mind as he waits for the door to be opened. It's a whirlwind in his head, leaving him half terrified and half hopeful. The thoughts all come to an abrupt stop when Skylar opens the door. Seeing her for the first time in what feels like forever doesn't really need much thinking. For the moment, all his worries and all his questions fade away. For the moment, he lets himself relax and act on instinct. In that moment, he kisses her, the feel of her lips on his making the rest of the world vanish around them. ░▒▓█▓▒░
