Modern

Jack:

-He would ask you every week if you ever wanted to get married so you had an idea that he was going to propose

-so one night after working hard at work, you tiredly walked into your apartment

-there were flower petals and fake candles leading you to the balcony which Jack called 'The Penthouse'

-when you walked out there, you saw Jack waiting for you

-"Jack? What is this"

-he then got down on one knee and pulled the small box out of his pocket and opened it to reveal a shiny silver and gold ring

-"Y/n Y/l/n, you make me feel complete and I love ya more than you could possibly know. So would ya please do me the honahs... And marry me?"

-you clearly said yes

-so he quickly put the ring on your finger and you two kissed and it was super romantic

-the next day, all the modern newsies were just like "Jack said he was going to propose to you last night. Did he do it? Did you say yes?"

-you showed them the ring and they all screamed in happiness

Davey:

-This bitch

-he's normally always nervous, so you didn't think of it being weird when he took you on a date one day and he was stuttering through the whole thing

-it was also winter, so you blamed it on the cold

-but he took you to an ice skating rink, one of those outdoor ones

-you two were skating around and having fun even though you didn't know how to ice skate

-once you got the hang of it, he let you go

-you got confused and turned around to see him down on one knee, holding a small box in his gloved hands 

-"Please hear me out before you fall again. Y/n, I love you more than I have ever loved anyone. You light up my life brighter than any sun or star. You complete me. So... Will you marry me?"

-All you could do was gasp before falling

-people around you laughed slightly but were super nervous to see what you'd say

-"Could someone help me stand up?"

-one person behind you helped you on your feet

-so you skated right up to Davey, who looks more nervous than ever

-"Hell fricking yes!"

-people started cheering around you as Davey stood up and pulled out into a hug

-you two then stared at eachother before you chuckled

-"I think you're supposed to put the ring on my finger, now."

-which he then did

Spot:

-You two decided to go to the beach one day, well, he did

-he forced you to join, even though you hate the beach

-once he gets you on the beach, he makes you close your eyes

-confused, you do so

-you can't hear anything over the sound of the crashing waves

-after a couple of seconds, he tells you to open your eyes again, which you do
