Quarantine With The Newsies (Modern Headcanons)

Davey:

-Davey is always taking up your shared bedroom in the apartment to do video chats with his student because he's a college teacher.

-once he's done, he'll always burst out of the room and find you somewhere in the house

-as soon as he finds you, he'll apologize for making you wait so long to see him before giving you the biggest cuddles

-you say it's fine 

-(even though you really do miss him during the day, even though he's just in another room)

-his parents have extra face masks for some reason and gave you like 40

-so whenever you two go get groceries and see that the cashier doesn't have a mask 

-he'll run over and give them like 5 because he's such a sweetheart

-every morning, he'll get up and make you coffee and breakfast in bed before work

-checks up on his friends non-stop

-whenever you get lonely because you haven't seen your friends, he'll set up his laptop and you two facetime all the newsies, which always cheers you up

-sometime, he'll have panic attacks from being cooped up

-so you will force him out of the house and you'll go on a walk (with masks on)

-whenever you get back, he's always hugging and thanking you

-"You're such an angel! I'm so glad that I'm with you for this time!"

-you always just smile and say that it's no big deal

-even if he says that it is

-you enjoy it when he cooks dinner

-every friday, he'll make a full course meal for you two

-it's always delicious

-sometimes when he's in the kitchen, he'll start riffing things

-just take any part of any song and RIFF IT

-you always stop whatever you do and listen because IT'S SO GOD DAMN BEAUTIFUL

-and you sometimes riff too

-it's not as good as him

-but when he's doing his classes, he'll shut up to just hear you riffing and riff back

-it's like a bird's mating call

-you always get self conscious when he does it because he's so much better than you

-but he was so shocked at the beginning at your relationship when he found out that you could riff

-you had practiced riffing ever since he showed you his riffs just so you could be as good as him

-you've really improved over the years, too!

-but even if you didn't he'd still love your voice
