Somewhere in La Union…

"Bakit naman kasi sinama niyo pa ako dito?" Bea asked her friends irritatingly

"Hay don't make arte na nga. You're here na nga oh. Unpack your things na…"

Even though she's not on a mood for anything, she did unpack some of her clothes and her bikini as well. After resting, she wore it and put on a short so that's it's not too revealing

Around 5 pm, they went out of their room and stayed in their veranda

"Bea let's walk sa shore. It's not that hot naman na ehhh…"

Bea didn't even made an effort to complain. So she just sighed and grab her phone so she can take some pictures

Her friends were right. It's not that hot so they can walk without getting sunburned

"Bea look. Is that Thirdy?"

Bea immediately looked up, and true to what her friend said, there he is, looking good as ever with his trunks and open polo while walking barefoot

"You go ahead girls. I'll stay here for a while…"

"Okay but we might be buying stuffs ha so baka matagalan kami…"

"It's okay..."

Her friends left and she looked at him. She was about to approach him but a girl suddenly ran towards him and clung her arms to his.

'Ohh. May kasama pala…' she thought

She was about to avoid them but Thirdy looked in her direction

"Uyy Bea!"

He called her attention and waved at her. She waved back. She smiled but her smile didn't reached her eyes.

'That should be me' she told herself

She sat in the shore and looked at the sea. She inhaled the fresh air and watched the waves go back and forth

"Bea hey…"

Thirdy appeared and sat beside her

"Why are you here? You're with Julia kanina ahhh…"

He smiled and looked at the shore so she did the same thing

"She's with her family na. They'll go raw sa kabilang resort…"

Silenced enveloped them and only the crashing of the waves can be heard. She collected all her guts and asked him the question that's been bugging her mind

"Thirdy, wala na ba talaga?"

She looked at him but Thirdy's still looking at the shore

"You know that it's always been you, Bei. But napapagod din ang puso. I was sailing along even if thousand of storms came, but I found her. She's been the best. She was there during the times that I was mad about how stupid I am towards you. She never gave up on me, Bei. I was ready to give it another shot pero may hangganan din pala lahat…"

Tears were threathening to fall kaya she looked at her feet and played with the sand

"I am not closing our doors, Bea. But I don't want to confined myself in a theory of uncertainty. Sobrang hirap. Sobra. I was not aiming to find another girl but she came. With her, I feel certain about myself. I feel, free…"

Di na niya napigilan yung mga luha niya and at that moment, she feel so vulnerable and weak

"Tama pala talaga sila. You should never let any opportunity slip away, and that nasa huli ang pagsisisi. I should've told you before that I am willing to give it a shot but I was so complacent that you'll always wait for me, not knowing na you can love another girl along the way…"
