"How does it feel," Shani exclaimed, as we walk through the hallway, "that you own everything around here?"

Like a queen. But an imposter one.

Napangiwi ako. "I'm still the same, Shan. Nothing changed. I still act like a secretary." We waved to staffs that greet us.

"Besides, ang liit lang naman ng shares ko dito. It doesn't ever bear anything. Saka I don't want to risk mine. Di ko ma-gets." Mas malaki pa nga ang shares ni Shani sa'kin. Bilang secretary, malaki pa sana ang shares ko kaso di ako marunong. Kahiya. Pero sabagay, Finance ang field ni Shan.

"Dibale na, magaling naman ang honey mo. At mayaman ang magiging anak mo." I rolled my eyes at Shani. Si Thanatos kasi, ang galing bantayan ang stocks na iniinvest niya. Kailangan mo kasing laging bantayan ang trend, pag napabayaan mo, biglang sasadsad ang stocks mo. Pag nataon naman, dodoble at triple pa yung stocks mo. I don't know how he does it with his hectic sched, siguro dahil magaling din siya maglaro.

"Kamusta pala ang magiging tagapagmana ng Ambrosia? Gosh, I can't wait to see your baby bump!"

I smiled hesitatedly. Tumataba na nga ako. Ramdam kong parang lumalaki ang braso ko at nagdarken yung nipples ko. Medyo lumalaki din yung breasts ko, to Thanatos's liking.

"Gaga, wag ka ngang maingay."

We entered the conference room. It's time for the quarterly meeting of the important heads of each department, available board members, and the CEO himself. We had to go there first to fix things before both of our bosses come.

Unti-unting napuno ang lugar.

"Grabe, ang gwapo talaga ni Sir no?" an intern whispered to someone beside her. Hindi pa 'ko nag-aangat ng ulo ay kilala ko na ang tinutukoy niya.

Thanatos entered, clad in his formalwear. I smiled silently. It was the tie I picked for him this morning. He was wearing his 'no-nonsense CEO' face on.

Kaniya-kaniyang batian ang naganap.

Mas lumapit sa'kin si Shani at bumulong, "andyan na naman admirer mo. Goodluck." Hindi na 'ko nakasagot. She quickly got out of the scene.

Nakita ko ngang may paparating sa'kin. I faked out a smile.

"Good morning, Miss Natividad. Gorgeous as always. How were you?" his eyes was expectant at lumabas iyong malalim na dimples niya.

Travis George Llagos. A self-made bachelor. Stockholder ng Ambrosia Empires, Inc. Naging tanyag ang manufacturing company niya ng sardinas. They are one of the main exporters in the Philippines. Hawak nila ang malaking palaisdaan. It's not yet an empire, but it's impressive. If he played his cards right plus more years of experience, he'll be definitely what you call a success.

He's about Thanatos' age. Unlike Thanatos na natural ang supladong mukha, he has a baby face. Swabe makipag-usap kaya maraming nape-persuade sa negosyo. Unlike Thanatos where you get intimidated and he'll make you feel like you have no other choice than to say 'yes'. Ang charming point nito ay 'yung dimple nito sa left cheek.

Matagal na rin itong nagpapalipad-hangin. Hindi ko lang pinapatulan. He's from work. And if he really wants to pursue me, he should've crossed the line and made efforts. But he never did. That's why I don't take him seriously.

"It's nice to see you again, Sir. I've been doing fine." pormal kong saad.

"Travis na lang, Aleera. I'm not your boss. And I don't plan to be." he smiled na parang may pinapahiwatig. Parang model ng toothpaste ngumiti.

"You're still one of the main stockholders, Sir."

Somewhere around us ay nagsimula nang umupo.
